Pregers is my name and naming is my game!!

Like that title? Well Im about Four months pregnant and I dont know what to name my baby. I dont know what my style of names are but I like hippy, Old fashion names and a little bit hipster I guess. The last name will be Jackson so we would like a non popular name to go with it since it is pretty comman.

I think Hazel and Opal are lovely and go well with Jackson. I'm not sure if they'll work with Helen or Elizabeth, though. Hazel Elizabeth gets lost on your tongue and Hazel Helen doesn't work. Opal doesn't work much better, sadly.

For the boys, I love Israel Beck! It sounds like an Indiana Jones type adventurer. Mason Jackson would be two last names which could get confusing. Arlo Jackson, with either middle name, sounds like a country music star. In a good way. :)

I would suggest for a girl Ramona Elizabeth Jackson, I think it flows the best, isn't too out there but isn't in danger of becoming trendy.

For boys I think August Nathaniel works well with Jackson, and again I don't think it's too out here but also don't see it as becoming a reallly trendy name.

I really like Ramona Elizabeth, it flows well, and Ramona is a really cool name, kind of hipster and nerdy but it's cute too.

That's crazy we posted at the same time with the same suggestion. It must be a winner then!

August Nathaniel is cool, too.

I found it hard to match names with Helen and Elizabeth, there are derivatives that I would use instead, Eliza, Elise, Ellen, Eloise, Liza and Helena or Nell instead of Helen.

Instead of Ramona for a daughter Ramon for a boy is very handsome.

I agree with other posters that most of the names you like don't "flow" particularly well with Helen or Elizabeth. That said, I don't think it matters that much so long as the first and last name flows.
