Need inspiration

Hi everyone, newbie here! I'm 11 weeks pregnant with my second child, and even though it's still early I can't stop myself from thinking about names already.
Right now we're considering Violet, Juliet, Claudia and Vivian if #2 is a girl, and Stephen, Elliot, Dean and Oliver if it's a boy. As you can see, we need a little help. What do you think of these names? Our daughter's name is Eliza Carolyn if it helps. Thanks!

I love all the names on your list (and your daughter's name)!

My favorite of your girl's names is Vivian, with Claudia as a close second. I think either would make a great sister to Eliza. I like Juliet, but prefer Julia. Violet is very pretty, but a lot more popular than the others, and might seem trendy or dated in the future.

For your boys' names, I LOVE Elliot, BUT I think it's too close to Eliza, esp of he is called Eli :( (Although if this doesn't bother you or have different enough nicknames, it doesn't have to be a deal-breaker). Dean is also a really cool name, though I don't know if I love it as much as Elliott. Oliver is fun, but seems like it might not be the easiest name for a child to have if it doesn't suit their personality. Stephen is a fine, classic name, but it's a little bland next to your other choices.

Violet, Juliet, Claudia and Vivian
I think all these names are nice and fit with Eliza. You could combine two of them.
Claudia Violet or Juliet Violet I think flow best.
Claudia is probably my favourite but Claudia and Eliza sound similar in the way they end. I think Juliet goes best with Eliza.

Stephen, Elliot, Dean and Oliver
I like all these names too but Eliza and Elliot are too close imo.
I think Oliver and Eliza work best together.

Dean Oliver
Dean Elliot
All nice combinations.

Personally I'd go with Oliver Dean or Juliet Violet.

I think Violet goes best with Eliza, but I also really like Juliet. Julia fits better with Eliza, however. I'd recommend either Violet Julia or Juliet Viola or Julia Violet! Very pretty and feminine. For the boy names, I honestly really like Oliver with Eliza. It is unique and classic at the same time. Oliver Stephen would be very cute!

I love all the girl's names on your list! I think the best fit with Eliza would be Juliet, although Vivian goes nicely too! To me, Violet and Eliza have too much of a similar sound (long I). For the boys, I love the name Oliver and think it's perfect with Eliza! Stephen and Dean also fit well, but while Elliot is a nice name, it's too similar to Eliza.

I LOVE the name Eliza! :-)

Violet: I think this is beautiful, and can see Violet and Eliza as sisters.

Juliet: I LOVE this name, and think that Eliza and Juliet are fantastic!

Claudia: I think it's a nice name, but I love Juliet and Violet more. I think my issue is the potential Claud nickname, which makes me think of the word "clod" (not the best meaning).

Vivian: I really love this name, and think it's great with Eliza. :-)

I'll vote for Juliet and Vivian, because Violet and Eliza share the same long I sound.


Stephen: I like some of the others on your list better...

Dean: I'm not a Dean fan, and can't picture Dean and Eliza as siblings. (I guess lump Dean together with names like Wayne and Roy.)

Elliot: I love the name, but Eliza and Elliot have the same beginning.

Oliver: One of my favorites! :-) I can definitely see Eliza and Oliver as siblings.

I'm going to vote for Oliver. :-)
