Audrey's MN

So it's official, we're having baby girl #2! Our first daughter is Hannah Grace. We love Audrey, but are having trouble with the MN. Hubby loves Audrey Evelyn, it feels "old" to me, but at least not super popular. I like Audrey Camille and posted it another board and got good info. Someone mentioned that we should use a virtue name for her MN like her sister's name (Grace). I like Audrey Faith, but is Grace and Faith too matchy matchy? I'm afraid that's a bit over the top. What do you guys think?

Other suggestions are welcome!

Audrey Evelyn
Audrey Camille
Audrey Leanne
Audrey Erin
Audrey Faith
Audrey Hope
Audrey Kate (we talked about this on here before, I like it but Kate is soooo popular)

Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Audrey's MN

Of your choices, I really like Audrey Camille. I think using another virtue name is too matchy, but you could use a name that also means 'grace', such as Anne or Annabel.

Audrey Annabel
Audrey Josephine
Audrey Maeve
Audrey Isabel
Audrey Elise
Audrey Catherine
Audrey Amelia
Audrey Miranda
Audrey Helena
Audrey Olivia
Audrey Sophia
Audrey Milena
Audrey Celeste

Audrey Evelyn
Audrey Camille - love!
Audrey Leanne
Audrey Erin
Audrey Faith - how about Audrey Faye, Nameberry says that Faye is a variation of Faith.
Audrey Hope
Audrey Kate (we talked about this on here before, I like it but Kate is soooo popular) - love!

Audrey Brynn
Audrey Claire
Audrey Maeve
Audrey Plum

I really love Audrey Faye!

Re: Audrey's MN

Hannah and Audrey are really cute together, and I think you SHOULD use a one-syllable middle name like Grace for Audrey, but it doesn't need to be a virtue name.

Audrey Belle
Audrey Blythe
Audrey Cate
Audrey Claire
Audrey Faye
Audrey Jade
Audrey Jane
Audrey Joy
Audrey June
Audrey Lark
Audrey Lynn
Audrey Maeve
Audrey Nell
Audrey Paige
Audrey Sage
Audrey Shea
Audrey Sloane

Like any of those names?

Re: Audrey's MN

I like several of those name listed. I just feel like it needs to be something traditional to coordinate with Hannah Grace.

I like Audrey Cate, but Audrey Hepburn's MN was Katharine, I'm not that much of a fan :)
Audrey Jane is OK, not in love
Audrey Faye- Does Faye seem a little outdated? It's right there with Nicole for me.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Faye doesn't seem like Nicole for me, it seems more old-Hollywood for some reason. And, I don't know if you need to go super traditional to match Grace since Grace is such a timeless name.

Also, I think the spelling of Cate or even Cait would help avoid the Audrey Hepburn associations, and I think the name flows beautifully with Hannah Grace. I wouldn't have even thought of Hepburn's middle name, honestly!

The other classic choices are Claire, Anne, Beth, Bess, Blythe, Nell, Rose, Jane, and even Shea, in my opinion. Do you have any one-syllable family names?

Re: Audrey's MN

My friend named her daughter Audrey Quinn, so that is the name that comes to mind for me.

I also like Audrey Faye. I think it is beautiful and it does not feel outdated.

Similarly I like Audrey Cate. Audrey Hepburn's mn was actually Kathleen and she had no relation to Katharine Hepburn. So, I think that if you were to use Cate, as opposed to Kate, you would probably avoid any association. Even Audrey Kate would probably be fine. If anything Hannah Grace and Audrey Kate seem like a combo that has a very subtle nod to Hollywood glamour names, and I mean very subtle.

Re: Audrey's MN

I don't think most people know that Audrey's middle name was Kate. Audrey Kate/Cate is lovely.
Faye is a retro name. Sounds way older than Nichole. Love Audrey Faye, too!
Audrey Kate/Cate and Audrey Faye are all very pretty but are different. Audrey Kate sounds sweet. Audrey Cate looks cool. Audrey Faye sounds vintage.

Re: Audrey's MN

I think that Audrey is beautiful, too. :-) Audrey Hepburn's middle name was actually Kathleen, not Katherine, so if you like Audrey Katherine, you don't have to worry about it appearing as though you named your baby after her. :-)

Audrey Caroline came to mind...

Best wishes to you! :-)
