Thoughts on Lydia?

I love Lydia, but I wanted to know if there were other names that you all thought were better (I should take that with a grain of salt, I imagine...)? So, what are your thoughts on this name? What sort of person do you imagine, in terms of anything (looks, personality, occupation, etc.)? What sort of sibling names do you like?

I love Lydia! It's so under-used.

I imagine her as being strong and bold, but also sweet and a little meek at times. She's a leader in the workforce. Sometimes I imagine her as a blonde, but I think it would be adorable on a girl with chocolate brown hair.

Natalie, Kara, and Molly would be cute for her sisters. For brothers - Nathan, Daniel, or Owen.

I love Lydia.

I absolutely love Lydia! It's familiar, but not common or boring, and just overall has a nice feel. I would imagine a Lydia to be blonde, slightly shy, with a good sense of humor. Siblings could be Serena, Caroline, Isabelle, Charlotte, Beatrice...

Thanks, girls! That is my vision of Lydia, too - not popular, but not unfamiliar. I actually only know one Lydia.

Okay, I'm glad that you all love the name Lydia as much as I do! What names do you think are nice to go with it, boy and girl? As I said before, I do like Charlotte and Caroline - can't use them both, though, as they are both variants of Charles! I am talking both sibling and middle names...
