What do you think about these names ?

I'm having a daughter and I've narrowed the names down to 3. When you read the name, what type of person comes to mind (profession / personality) also rate them out of 10 and which one is your favorite. Thanks !

Amelia Paige is my favorite - classic and simple with a bit of spunkiness and edge. Amelia would be an intelligent, warm, happy child who enjoyed being with people and playing. I could see her being very successful in any career. For some reason, I envision her in a publishing firm of some sort of journalist field, but she could just as easily be a physician. Lovely name.

Eliana Jade is pretty, but it seems slightly childish to me, and (I feel terrible saying this) makes me think only of a Latina woman. It has excellent flow, and I like it, but I prefer Amelia. Eliana would be a successful woman, perhaps in fashion.

Scarlett Mae honestly looks a bit country to me, what with the Mae and also Scarlett. Scarlett is a pretty name, but with this combination, I see this woman working as a bartender.

My favorite is Amelia. So pretty, and it reminds me of Amelia Earhart! Good luck in choosing. I'm trying to choose twin names now - so tough!

I am horrible at thinking of professions and what kind of person would go with a name.
I think that all these names are pretty.

Amelia and Scarlett have more of a classic, older feel. But Eliana seems more contemporary and modern to me.

For me, Eliana Jade is #1, then Amelia Paige, then Scarlett Mae.

Out Of 10: 8.7 Amelia Paige- This one is a close call with Eliana Jade. Amelia is beautiful and the daring Amelia Earhart comes to mind. I see a bright, bubbly woman with a mischievous smile and who winks knowingly. One full of energy.

Out Of 10: 8.9 Eliana Jade- I see a woman (and child) that is all angelic and sweet but with a 'wild side' (courtesy of the bold Jade following gentle, flowery Eliana.) She's caring but strong, gentle but fierce at the same time.

Out Of Ten: 4.5 Scarlett Mae- I love Scarlett the most of of all your names. But with Mae following it (and I'm echoing what other posters said) I find it to be all country western to me. Unfortunately, Scarlett Mae to me is a tall farmer girl with thick blonde braids and a flannel plaid shirt with denim overalls. That's the image the comes to mind I'm afraid.

Scarlett Jade or Amelia Scarlett would be very pretty, as well as Eliana Mae (all sugar there) and Scarlett Eliana.

I love all your names except Paige, which I don't like at all (sorry but that's my opinion on the name Paige. I even have a very good friend named Paige and I still just can't connect with the name)

Ooh, this is fun! (I have a very active imagination :) )

Amelia Paige - bookish, gentle and sweet; she has pigtails. The flow is good, but not amazing ... I just can't feel the pizazz with this one - 7/10.

Eliana Jade - a spunky teenager, with a lot of friends. She does charity work; she's a very nice girl. This one has the best flow, so I am going to give it 8.5/10.

Scarlett Mae - a 50s Hollywood Glamour Girl, she's charismatic, friendly and happy. I adore both names, but the flow is not quite as good as that of Eliana Jade ... that said, there is rather a proliferance of Ellie nicknames at the moment, and so this also gets 8.5 out of ten.

All of your names sound like they could easily become high-powered businesswomen.

I have a dutch friend Eliane (said like Eliana), and she's a dentist (and beautiful!).

I like Eliana the best, probably because I'm familiar with it and know a nice one.

I think the name Scarlett is gaining in respectability - I personally wouldn't worry about it limiting her career choices :)

I know Amelia is becoming more and more popular but it still reminds me of the children's novel Amelia Bedelia about a clumsy maid who takes everything literally.

My favorite of the three is Amelia and I love the combination of Amelia Paige.
She sounds like a very warm person, and I think of her as a teacher of small children (Ms. Amelia). She sounds content.

Eliana is a close second (though I think I would prefer a different middle name - Eliana Jade just doesn't quite match to me).
Eliana is stylish and sophisticated, though perhaps a bit aloof at times. She works in the fashion industry, or she is a magazine editor.

Scarlett is not a name I would use, though I can see its appeal.
Again, though, I would change the middle name (Maybe Scarlett Amanda?) I see Scarlett as highly dramatic - probably an actress, but definitely some type of artist.

1. Amelia Paige: I'll give it a 7, because while I love the vintage Amelia, I picture it with a similarly vintage or classic name; Paige feels too modern for me paired with Amelia.

With Amelia, I picture a perky, bright little girl who grows up to become an attorney.

2. Eliana Jade: 6...I think that Eliana is a beautiful name, and I love how it's used in a variety of cultures. (I'm not personally a Jade fan, although I do think it capture's Eliana's exotic feel. )

Paired with Jade, though, I have to admit that I think of an exotic dancer, although I also picture a news anchor with the name. (I guess I don't have the best perceptions of the name Jade.)

With Eliana Scarlett, I can picture an attorney, architect, or even a dancer (not of the exotic variety.) :-)

3. Scarlett Mae: 9...I love the name Scarlett, but paired with Mae it does feel rather "country-ish" to me, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I picture a sweet, down-to-earth little girl who loves animals and playing with dolls, and I can see her becoming a doctor, lawyer...anything, actually!

I really like Amelia Scarlett, too. :-)
