Silly topic, but need help choosing a plant name!

Hi! So I posted earlier on someone else's poll about silly things I've named - my plants. I've got two house plants: a money tree named Alfie Theodore and an African Violet named Stella Josephine. Those names took a lot of thought, actually!

Anyway, I got a new plant, a Jade plant. It is very small right now, and I want it to have a name to match the others (I know, very silly...). But, I can't decide if it is more a boy or a girl! I knew the other two right away, and I'm thinking maybe this one looks a bit like a geeky little boy? Not sure. I want a name that has a two-syllable first name and three-syllable middle name, like Alfie and Stella. Both of those names use classic, but still original, names, and that is what I want for the Jade.

Can somebody help me?

Thanks! For a girl, I was considering Cora Beatrice or something, and I do really like Archie! Is it too close to Alfie? I think so. I just need to figure out if it is a boy or girl plant. Haha!

Plants?! A jade plant sounds like a girl to me so I'll say Gemma Lee

Re: Silly topic, but need help choosing a plant name!

Yup, I told you it was silly!

And, I like Harvey, Chester, and Arthur. I really like Cora Beatrix! Can't decide boy or girl - are there any unisex classic-type names? Haha!

I was also thinking Ira, Cyrus, or Waldo...

For unisex plant names with a classic vibe, what about Clancy, which is both a nickname for Clarence and a name used for girls?

Also, there's August, Honor (not unisex, but not frilly, either), Juniper, Juno....

I hope your plant is doing well and getting along with his/her botanical siblings. :-)

Take care!

I like Ira :) I was going to suggest Gus :)

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys, and Jill, you are too funny!

I've decided it is a girl! I was thinking I might totally change my idea and name it Calliope Jade, but maybe there is a really good classic girl name combo out there!
