My husband and I are expecting our 2nd. We are keeping the sex a delivery surprise! We know that we love Ruby for a girl, but are thinking an irish boy name to complement big brother Shawn. For both we want a K middle name, in honor of my husband.

I like Ruby Kathleen - for an Irish theme.

I don't think I would do Ruby Kennedy because of all the associations with the Kennedy assassination. (JFK, Jack Ruby...) Just my thoughts...

I adore Keavy (an anglicised form of the Irish name Caoimhe), Katherine (or even simply Kitty) and Kit for a girl's mn, although I am not sure of the flow of Ruby Keavy ... Also, how about Keira, an anglicised form of Ciara (keer-a)?

For a boy, Kevin is the anglicised version of Caoimhin, and Killian and Kieran both spring to mind, too.
