What do you think of the name Rose?

I know it is typically used as a middle name, but I think that it's beautiful as a first name too. Not too popular, and seems very classic to me.
I love my little sister's name (Louise Gabrielle Rose), and thought Rose as a first name would be the perfect way to honour her. I'm not pregnant, just very keen on names!

1) It's fine...not my favorite, but I don't hate it.
2) Rose Amelia, Rose Aurelia
3) I prefer other flower names, such as Lily, Poppy, Posy, Violet, Bryony, Holly, and Ivy. And, I like Arabella Rose better than Rose Arabella = better flow.

I love Rose as a first name. It is definitely an underused classic -- a la Rose Kennedy.

An alternative nickname for this name that I love is Roey (rhymes with Chloe)
