Imogen Bluebell Updated combo
by rollo on Fri Oct 09, 2009 6:58 am
My daughter who is expecting in April is looking for THE name for her baby, she already has Chloe Skye and at the moment is considering Imogen Bluebell. What do you think of this combo?
PS She doesn't know if she is expecting a girl or boy.
Just thought that you may like this combo better, what do you think of
Lydia Imogen Bluebell?

Honestly, I don't like either Imogen or
Bluebell. How about Clara Rain?

I think the "bluebelle" aspect fits nicely with Chloe Skye, but Imogen is styllistically very different from Chloe...in my mind.

I love it! It is beautiful and spunky at the same time!
I'm not sure where your daughter lives, but I live in the US, so I may not be the best judge of how the baby's name will be viewed in context of other children her age in her area. I love the name Imogen, but unfortunately, cannot use it as it is not a name commonly used in the US. :(

I like Imogen quite a lot. Bluebell isn't my style--it's a little too cutesy. I'd prefer just Blue or another nature name--pp's suggestion of Rain would work. I'm not sure Imogen and Chloe are the same style but I like them together.

Imogen is a nice name, but I agree with pp who say that Bluebell is cutesy. Reminds me of Trixie Belle. Imogen Isabel(le) or Imogen Isabella would make a love combo, as would Imogen Arabella.

I agree that Imogen doesn't fit with Chloe, nor is it very cute in my opinion, even though the combo sounds nice. Others that would fit better with Chloe:
Cora
Daphne
Dora
Iris
Lexi
Phoebe
Rhea
Selene
My favorites with Chloe Skye are Phoebe Greer and Rhea Blair. Or, another cute middle name would be Star, or its French version, Estee. Or Rhea Selene would be pretty!

I think the earlier recommendation of using Rain as a middle name is very appropriate given that the baby will be born in April. I kind of though Daisy Rain is cute, but maybe that's too cutesy. Don't know. Maybe Lila Rain, Isla Rain...
For a boy, maybe the middle names River, Hawk, Dune, Cloud...

I love the spunk and originality of Imogen Bluebell, but like Rica (I think it was Rica!) said, Chloe and Imogen feel very different in style to me. Hmm...I really love the combo, though! :-)
Best wishes to you and your daughter!

Is Chloe Sky just another name that she's considering for this baby, or does she already have a daughter named Chloe Sky?
