Any suggestions?

A family from my church are expecting their fourth child after Christmas and were puzzling over names at a recent meeting, so I told them about Nameberry and said I would ask for suggestions from all of you lovely people.

Their three older children are Oona, Esme and Otto, and they won't know the gender of the baby until the birth.

We live in England and they have Irish roots, although it is not important to them to honour those roots. They would like to avoid another German name, or one beginning in E or O.

They would prefer a two-syllable name ending in a vowel sound.

Any suggestions? Currently they are considering Sorcha (for a girl) and Hugo (for a boy). The last time I mentioned the name Hugo to an American I recieved a very strange look, so I feel I should mention that it is a perfectly ordinary name over here (in fact, I know three)!

Re: Any suggestions?

Thank you all very much! I put your suggestions to them today, and they loved several of them! (Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately as it means that I could use them in the future, they couldn't be swayed to three of my favourites, Ivy, Luna and Selah.)

Their list, as it stands, now looks like this :
Boys :
Hugo
Louis
Milo
Cosmo
Leo

Girls :
Sorcha
Petra
Anya
Freya
Ailsa
Isla
Hebe (inspired by the suggestion of Phoebe)
Flora
Margot.

They will probably take a selection of names with them to the birth, and decide once they have seen him/her - of course, I will keep you all updated!

Just for interest's sake, the middle names are fixed, and they are not worried about the flow of the names - it will be James Patrick/Patrick James or Louisa Margaret/Margaret Louisa, depending on the fn picked. They are all family names, I believe.
