So here's what i need...

I need a girls name, not completely unknown but NOT popular, preferably out of the top 500, definitely out of the top 100.
It can't be made up or kree8tively spelled
It needs a nickname that doesn't end in an "e" sound.

I'm having trouble finding names whose nicknames aren't an "e" ending sound. I already have a Toby, and and I don't want two "e" ending names. So help me out here, girls! Are there names that have nicknames that end in "a" or some other sound?

Re: So here's what i need...

You might want to use a name without a nn since most girls' nn's end in -ie or -y (the EE sound). But here are a few ideas. Some, however, are not stylistically good with Toby.

Jillian nn Jill* -- love this one
Philippa nn Pippa
Cornelia nn Nell
Maribel nn Bel

Gemma nn Gem*
Pamela nn Pam*
Natasha nn Tasha
Teresa/Tessa nn Tess
Melissa nn Mel*
Vivian nn Viv*
Valarie nn Val*
Patricia nn Tricia
Rebecca nn Becca
Mabel nn May
Lynette nn Lyn*
Linnea nn Linn
Alexandra nn Alex/Alix or Sasha
Kimber nn Kim* -- love this one
Gwendolyn nn Gwen
Estella nn Stella
Delila nn Del
Crimson nn Crim*
Cecile nn Cec

I have * the ones I think would go well with Toby.

Re: So here's what i need...

I've starred ones that are known (they appear in England top 300) but don't appear at all in US 1000.

Dahlia (Lia)
Eliana (Ana/Ella)
Eloise* (Ella)
Esme* (May)
Felicity (Lissa)
Francesca (Cessa)
Gemma (Gem)
Helena (Lena)
Imogen* (Gen/Jen)
Leona* (Lea)
Lilia (Lia/Lil)
Louisa* (Lou)

Rhiannon (Ria)
Tabitha (Tia, Beth)
