Problem

We had the name Katerina Jane picked out for our baby if it's girl.

Our best friends Jenn and Matt having been trying to adopt a child from Russia for a few years. They finally are adopting a little girl and her name is Katerina. So we decided to change our name. Our back up name was Anastasia but we can't find a mn that we like with it. So we're back to square one.

Annabelle nn. Annie - I think I'm the only one not in love with this name. I'm very glad to see you would be using nn Annie instead of Belle. LOVE Annie! :)
Aria - this one's my fav...its on our short list :) Aria Adeline is our choice (mn is family name) Aria Maeve is gorgeous, though. I think a lot of names will work with this one.
Dahlia nn. Lia - I actually like Delia better. So sweet, though!
Eleanor nn. Elea - I love the name Nora, but I'm still working on Eleanor...

I really like Aria!

Lia is nice but I don't love Dahlia, I also like Eleanora better than Eleanor, Elena (a version of Helena and you can always use the nn Ella) and I really like Talia.

What about Tatiana, Larissa, Annalisa or Nastassja as name ideas?

I also think Anastasia is a very pretty name...Maybe Anastasia Eleanor(a)?

Ezekiel is the fn. Our last name is Banks.

Arianna nn Aria is really pretty, except I would spell it Ariana-- so much prettier and simpler!

Arianna is pretty and would work well with lots of the middle names suggested here. You had originally chosen Jane (which I love of course - my daughter is Jane!) - is that set? It sounds good with Arianna but I think I like some of the longer middle names even better with your short last name Banks. Like Arianna Josephine Banks . . . I'm not as good as coming up with lists as some of the other posters, so I leave that up to them. But if you are set on Jane for MN, then you might be done! Again, I think it sounds wonderful with Arianna.
