Looking for a girls name that flows well w/Alexander

i'd like a sweet girly name that she can also grow up with, and that flows nicely w/my sons name Alexander. heres a few examples of names i like:

Analeigh: i love it but look at the first 4 letters..

Delilah: i think its beautiful but hubby doesnt like it

Anastasia: maybe too matchy matchy w/Alexander

Daphne: my sons pick

Grace: i love it but this is my husbands cousins name

Serena: another cousins name that i love

Suggestions please!!!

Re: Looking for a girls name that flows well w/Alexander

Analeigh: It sounds way too trendy and made-up. What about Anneliese?

Delilah: Cute name. What about Delia or Della?

Anastasia: I think it's a pretty name, but a bit too matchy with Alexander

Daphne: I love Daphne!

Grace: I think it's getting popular, if that matters. I do think it sounds good with Alexander

Serena: Lovely-- maybe Selena instead, if you can't use Serena?

Other suggestions:

Miranda
Aveline
Eleanor
Phoebe
Rosalie
Helena
Katharine
Sylvie
Natalie
Jessamine
Ella
Annabel
Isadora
Audrey
Amelia
Nora
Juliana

I like Analeigh the best........What about spelling it Annaleigh or Annalee
I also like the name Annalynne

Re: Looking for a girls name that flows well w/Alexander

Analeigh: I love this name too but my hubby sees the first 4 letters too.

Delilah: What about Lila/Lilah, Dahlia.....

Anastasia: I do love Anastasia but it might be too matchy. Lets see what others say.

Daphne: Is actually on my short list. Alexander and Daphne, maybe.

Grace: I feel it's pretty common but it does work with your sons name. If you don't mind unisex names Grayson, nn Grace.

Serena: This one isn't really my style. I like Carina, Corina, Sabrina, or Marina.

This first name that came to my mind was Elizabeth.
I think Alexander and Elizabeth would be great together not to mention all of the nickname possibilities with Elizabeth. There was a thread that was started that was all about the many nn's of Elizabeth, you might be surprised.

Lets see Alexander and

Colette
Evangeline
Genevieve
Isadora
Josephine
Julianne
Lorelei
Leonie
Marissa
Priscilla - it has that Anastasia feel to me.
Rhiannon
Sidonie
Veronica

I think Alexander is a very handsome name. :-) I thought I'd mention that Analeigh may very well be the butt off anally jokes. (No pun intended...)

I love Irish's Anneliese suggestion!

Some more you may like (my apologies for repeats):

Annabelle
Amelia
Caroline
Charlotte
Clara
Diana
Emmeline
Eliza
Felicity
Frances
Georgia
Genevieve (nn Evie)
Iris
Ivy
Juliet
Lydia
Marielle
Phoebe
Penelope (nn Poppy or Nell)
Stella
Scarlett
Tess/Tessa
Violet
Vivienne

Good luck! :-)

Re: Looking for a girls name that flows well w/Alexander

I love Anastasia, and it doesn't seem at all too 'matchy' with Alexander. It's a totally different name! Now if you were thinking of naming your daughter Alexandra, then I'd say, 'woah, wait a minute ...", but not with Anastasia. I say go for it!

Re: Looking for a girls name that flows well w/Alexander

I love the name Analeigh, like you. But, I prefer the spelling Annalie. It's pretty and the first four letters are bad at all.

I love the name Alexander :)

Annalie Grace would be so cute

Also, Annelie is a German spelling and Anneli is Finnish. I much prefer these to Analeigh as they look more classy and away from the 'kr8tiv' feel.
