WDYT of Romney?
by unicorngal on Sat Nov 07, 2009 12:10 pm
We have some Welsh heritage and I just found this more unique boy's name. I like the sound of it and think possibly my son and daughter-in-law might like it if one of the twins(or both) are boys. Any ideas for mn and any boy (or girl) names that would work well for twin. Any help appreciated.

Romney sounds rather stuffy to me whereas Remy sounds great.

I have to admit that when I saw "Romney," I only thought of Mitt Romney, the politician. I'm not sure where you live, but if you're in the U.S., there's a good chance that people who follow politics will think you're a Mitt Romney fan.
Good luck! :-)

Adding to my above post, I can see these names with Romney:
Anwen (Lord of the Rings connection, though)
Bryn
Carys
Gwyneth
Gwendolyn
Meredith
Wendolyn
Wynn
(I'm not sure if you're only looking for Welsh names.) :-)
Good luck!

I also only think of Mitt Romney, Utah politician and 2008 presidential hopeful. Cute name, but I think a lot of people will think this too. How about Rowen?
