What to do? Need honest advice.

I am having my 4th child, a boy. So far we have named our last 3 after one of the 4 grandparents, leaving the last grandparent (a female) who just recently passed away. Her name was Violet Louise Greye. Greye would be perfect for us to use for a boy, however, our last name is Wolff. Greye Wolff just won't work. I don't care for Grayson (too feminine). So we were thinking maybe we would use Greyer for a middle name. Well, we just aren't finding any first names we "love". Do you think Greyer Wolff is just too much and the kiddo would be made fun of? Our first names we like the most are Abram and Silas.
Abram Greyer
Silas Greyer (but we have a girl named Selah and I think that may be too close - could we do Greyer Silas instead?)
Or do you have suggestions for another name? We want something simple, strong and uncommon. Our other kids names are Jack Monty, Rayce Brian and Selah Belle.
Thanks in advance for your help!

For me personally, I like Greye or Greyer better than both Silas and Abram, so I would go that way. I definitely understand the pressure to name the fourth after the last grandparent when the previous 3 are!
Do you like Louis at all (from Louise)? Maybe you could name him Louis Greyer and call him Greyer??
My other thought was that Greyer to me is close to Greer if you like that better with your last name.
Good luck!

I agree with the previous poster that Louis is another great name that you should consider putting in the mix.
There's also Victor, which begins with the same first two letters as Violet.
My favorite combos would be:
Abram Louis Wolfe
Victor Silas Wolfe

You could also use Greydon. I love both Abram and Silas.

Grayson Wolff. Is that too much like a gray wolf? I think it is. Any of the gray names are too much like a gray wolf.
I think I would go another direction. You could name him Louis or Lewis Wolff like Emily said. Or you could name him something that starts with a V like Violet: Victor, Vincent, etc.
Or you could name him something that means the same thing as Louise. Louise means renowned warrior. Here are some warrior names: (be right back, going over to the Behind the Name website to look up names.) Later - I found Charles, Duncan and Ryder, they all mean warrior.

Hmm. I think Greyer Wolff is a little to "Grey Wolf". So I searched names that mean grey and found:
Blanford (I like this one!)
Greeley
Horton
Lloyd
Just some options to consider.

I like Abram Louis Wolff a lot! Greyer and Greye and Greyson all sound too gloomy or howling with Wolff last name.

Somehow I overlooked Abram before. I love Abram Louis Wolff. Sounds very masculine and gruff, but also very handsome.

I also really like AbramLouis Wolff. (I love the flow of Abraham Louis Wolff.) To me, any Grey name makes me think of a grey wolf.
Good luck! :-)
