Twin boys

We're expecting twins- big sister is Evangelina Kate (Evie)- and we thought they were girls, but now there's a little doubt. They're definitely identical (same sac, one placenta) but now our names- Juliana Claire (Ana) and Francesca Jane (Francie) OR Isabelle Mireielle (Izzy)- are out! We need boy names.
Although I definitely love longer names with shorter nicknames- especially for girls- I'm willing to forego that pattern because most of the boy names I like do not fit that pattern. However, if one is a long name with a nickname, both must be. So here are my two lists. Please tell me, from the lists, which two you think work best as a pair, and feel free to add your own suggestions too. I find naming boys to be far more difficult than naming girls!
Long names w/nicknames
-Maxwell (Max)
-Elijah (Eli or Eja)
-Phinneas (Finn) OR
-Finlay (Finn) (Don't care if girls are taking this over; I like it and consider it a boy's name!) :)
-Jackson (Jack)
-Samuel (Sam)
-Alexander or Alessandro (Alex)
Shorter Names, no nicknames:
-Porter
-Greyson
-Oliver
-Elliot
-Julian
-Miles
-Aidan
-Xavier
-Parker
-Ashton
-Preston
-Elias
-Hudson
-Weston
-Everett
-Rhys

The girls names you picked out are lovely.
I'll try not repeat combos from my list.
From you names I'd pair them together like this-
Jackson, Samuel and Alexander all go together quite well.
I'd probably pair Jackson & Samuel and Alexander & Samuel. Jackson & Alexander sound good too but you get the same "x" sound in the middle of both names. That's not a real big deal just thought I'd point it out.
Elijah & Phinneas - Eli & Finn
Maxwell & Samuel - Max & Sam
I'd avoid pairing namings ending in the same sound like
Greyson and Weston. In my opinion I feel they're too matchy.
All though Porter and Preston seem a bit too matchy as well, I sort of like that pairing.
Porter & Greyson
Porter & Weston
Porter & Hudson
Porter & Ashton
Greyson & Everett - I think these two work nicely but feel there has been a rise in popularity for both. Still a great combo.
Greyson & Oliver
Greyson & Miles
Greyson & Parker
Oliver & Miles - I like this set too.
Oliver & Elliot - maybe too matchy.
Oliver & Preston - I really like these two together.
Oliver & Julian
Elliot & Miles
Elliot & Ashton
Elliot & Porter
Elliot & Parker
Elliot & Rhys - I like this set best for Elliot.
Julian & Xavier - one of my favorite combos.
Julian & Preston - a little matchy but I think they work well together.
Julian & Rhys
Julian & Elias
Miles & Rhys
Miles & Aidan
Miles & Julian
Miles & Everett
Aidan & Parker
Aidan & Porter
Aidan & Oliver - this works well, Aidan is pretty popular though.
Aidan & Rhys
Xavier & Preston
Xavier & Rhys
Xavier & Elias
Parker & Ashton
Parker & Hudson
Parker & Weston
Parker & Everett
Ashton & Everett
Preston & Everett
Elias & Rhys
Hudson & Everett
Hmmm, tough but I think my favorite combo is Julian & Xavier.

I love Alexander and Finlay.
Finn and Lex would also be cute alternative nicknames for the two names.
Best of luck, and congrats!

Maxwell (Max): I can see Maxwell and Evangelina as siblings...
Elijah (Eli or Eja): I can better see some of your other names with Evangelina...
Phinneas (Finn): I can see Phineas with Evangelina, but not so much Finn, because the styles feel so different.
Finlay (Finn): I think some of your others work better with Evangelina's style.
-Jackson (Jack): Ditto...
-Samuel (Sam): I think this could work...
-Alexander or Alessandro (Alex): I can definitely see Alexander, Alessandro and Evangelina as siblings.
Shorter Names, no nicknames:
-Porter: I can't see this with Evangelina.
-Greyson: Ditto...
-Oliver: I can see this...
-Elliot: I can better see Elias with Evangelina.
-Julian: I can see Juilian and Evangelina together.
-Miles: I can see this, and Milo, too!
-Aidan: This is VERY popular/trendy (Pam and Linda's new book is called Beyond Ava and Aiden), and I can't see it with the unusual and exotic Evangelina.
-Xavier: I can totally see this with Evangelina!
-Parker: I can't see this with Evangelina.
-Ashton: Ditto
-Preston: Ditto
-Elias: Aha! Elias is here! :-) I can see this...
-Hudson: I can't see this...
-Weston: Ditto...
-Everett: It shares Evangelina's Ev beginning, so I'd personally go with something else.
-Rhys: I can see this with Evangelina.
With Evangelina, I picture something similarly exotic and romantic in style (or with at least a touch of these traits).
From your list, I love Xavier with Evangelina, as well as Alexander, Phineas, and Julian. If I can only vote for one combo, I think I'll go with Xavier and Alexander/Alessandro, although I love Alexander and Julian, too, and they both have different endings.
I also love these with Evangelina:
Cassius (nn Cash)
Dashiell
Felix
Gabriel
Hugo
Jude
Leo (although it's similar to Evangelina's ending)
Milo
Maximilian
Roman
Raphael
Sebastian
Simon
Victor
Vincent
Willem
I see that you like surnames, so you may like:
Archer
Bennett
Conrad
Harrison
Pierce
Reed
Truman
Wilson
Good luck! :-)

I think Maxwell and Alexander are fabulous together and with Evangelina (which is beautiful!). Evie, Max and Alex make such a cute sib-set don't you think?
Good Luck!
EDIT: Oliver does have the nn of Ollie...

Just to start, Isabelle Mireielle sound very off to me, with all the -elle sounds! I think that Evangelina Kate goes best with Juliana Claire and Isabel Francesca/Jane.
On to boy names! I think Evangelina would go perfectly with Nathaniel and Sebastian and Benjamin! Even Theodore! I love Nathaniel Rhys "Nate" and Sebastian Boyd "Seb" and Benjamin Myles "Ben" and Theodore Hudson "Theo"!
Other long names:
Archibald "Archie"
Elliott "Eli"
Harrison "Harry, Harris"
If I were having twin boys with a big sister named Evangelina Kate "Evie", I'd choose Nathaniel Rhys and Theodore Hudson, I think.

I love your name choices and total agree on them 'matching' i.e both equally shortenabole - this was my rule for my twin boys - Oscar/Oz and Fintan/Finn (I love Finley too, but Finley is way too popular for me here [i'm in England] so the Irish name Fintan had it!
From about 20 - 30 weeks pregnant they were going to be called Nathaniel/Nate and Theodore/Theo but we changed our minds.
Hope you arrive at some great names that you love!
