Re: Middle Names and Opinions please

Jake: For me, Jake is a nickname for Jacob, which is the most popular name in the U.S.. I think that Jacob/Jake is handsome, but for me, it's just too popular. I also love Jack and Jude.

Jake Alexander
Jake Donovan
Jake Everett
Jake Harrison
Jake Maxfield

Ryan: Because it's so popular, I think that other Irish names sound fresher, like:

Beckett
Cullen
Callum
Donovan
Declan
Dashiell (Scottish)
Finnian/Finn
Kellan (not Irish, but reminds me of Ryan)
Liam (popular, though)
Quinlan
Roman (not Irish)
Rafferty
Rowan
Sullivan

Ryan Alexander
Ryan Charles
Ryan Elliot
Ryan Xavier

Evan: I personally prefer the less popular Everett, but I think that Evan is handsome, too. :-)

Evan Charles
Evan Gabriel
Evan Maxwell
Evan James
Evan Reid
Evan Samuel

Eli: I think Eli is very handsome. (I'm a huge fan of Elias...)

Eli Benjamin
Eli Donovan
Eli Gabriel
Eli Gideon
Eli Harrison
Eli Nathaniel
Eli Samuel
Eli Solomon

Cade: Cade is too close to the trendy Caden/Cayden/Aiden/Jayden, etc. for me...

Cade Benjamin
Cade Harrison
Cade Oliver
Cade Sullivan

Isaac: I love Isaac....

Isaac Benjamin
Isaac Gabriel (the hard c and g sound kind of harsh together, though)
Isaac James

From your list, my favorites are Eli (or Elias) and Isaac.

Best wishes to you! :-)

Re: Middle Names and Opinions please

Jake - I know it's popular, and most think of Jacob as a full name and Jake as a nn, but my brother is actually Jake Austin and I think it's pretty fabulous. Besides Jake being my brother's name, I find it similar to a Henry in which I don't care how popular it is, I still love it. So, if common is an issue to you, I would stay away but as a name I think it's great.

Ryan - This is another name that is popular and, in my opinon, kind of dated, but still handsome.

Evan - I agree with Jill that Everett is a better twist on this name. I LOVE Everett.

Eli - Also love this name.

Cade - Second Jill's opinion.

Isaac - Also another great name.

Of your choices, I like Eli, Issac and Jake, but I prefer Everett above all... it's a swooner.

(Sorry for any repeats)
Eli Grayson
Eli Calvin

Issac Solomon
Issac Hayes

Jake Everett
Jake Austin =)

Best of luck to you!

Re: Middle Names and Opinions please

My favorite of your list is Isaac. I also love Jacob nn Jake, but it's so darn popular. But my name is Susan, and back in the day, it was enormously popular, too. I love my name, so I don't care how popular it is. If you feel that way about Jacob nn Jake, then go ahead and use it!

Re: Middle Names and Opinions please

Great suggestions and I love the first and middle name combination's.

My favorites in order

Isaac - My nephews name (Izaak). Love it!
Eli - I just love this name. Along with other great "E" names - Ezra, Elijah, and Ezekiel.
Evan - I love this name but usually consider it for a girl. that's only because I like unisex names. I think it would also be great for a boy.
Jake - I don't think of Jacob only because I've known Jacobs who only go by Jacob. I hear Jack more than Jake and really love Jack.
Ryan - Honestly I've even consider this one for a girl. In my opinion I think it is a softer boys name.
Cade - I agree that it has the trendy Jaden/Hayden/Caden vibe. I love it for a middle name though.
