    Top Ten for PA:

    1. Mason & Sophia
    2. Michael & Emma
    3. Jacob & Ava
    4. Logan & Olivia
    5. Ryan & Isabella
    6. Noah & Abigail
    7. Liam & Emily
    8. Ethan & Madison
    9. Benjamin & Ella
    10. William & Mia

My son's name Hunter is #48 & my daughter's name Zoe is #52. But the Zoey spelling is #37.

The dreaded Nevaeh is #36! Matthew is #15. I'm surprised that one is that high, but there's actually ALOT of traditional boy's names on PA's top 101.

Do you find this in everyday life when you meet kids?
You know, I do find it interesting that some of those very 80's/90's names are ranked so highly here, especially since CA is considered so "fashion forward". I do know a 1-year-old Jennifer, but I haven't heard any of the other names (on children, anyway) in my area. It seems like every other kid I meet is named Mason or Violet, actually.

I gotta say, though, that I much prefer Kimberly, Andrea and Jennifer to Addison, Madison and Nevaeh, none of which are as popular here as they are nationally (though I've heard all three in my area).

CA is such a huge state! I'm sure the fashion-forward areas are on the Mason/Violet bandwagon. I live in a small state and our stats still didn't match up to the names of the new babies I meet.

    For Wisconsin

    Top Ten:

    Mason & Sophia
    Liam & Emma
    William & Ava
    Logan & Olivia
    Owen & Isabella
    Noah & Addison
    Jacob & Ella
    Jackson & Abigail
    Alexander & Evelyn
    Benjamin & Grace

I'm very impressed! Evelyn's number 9 for girls, and Abigail is 8th. I like that Owen and Noah are high up too, and Benjamin is a nice one for the tenth slot.
I'm also amused by seeing Liam as #2, and William at #3.

Other names I'm happy to see:
    Elijah
    Evan
    Jack
    Nolan
    Oliver
    Caleb
    Anthony
    Parker
    Eli
    Blake
    Carson
    Charles! (#50)
    Easton
    Thomas
    Ian
    Maxwell
    Colton
    Bryce
    Adrian

    Hannah
    Lauren
    Lydia
    Anna
Molly (It's ranked higher than Peyton and Arianna and Ariana)
    Autumn
    Stella
    Audrey
    Cora
    Liliana
    Clara
    Vivian is number 100

While a lot of the above aren't my style, it's so nice to see varying styles that aren't trendy in the top 100. I would've never expected to see Charles(#50) ranked higher than Ayden (#96)!
Benjamin (#10) is higher than Aiden (#14), Brayden and Jayden are at 29 and 27 respectively. (Isaac is smack in the middle at 28)

I love that my top names for a boy and girl aren't on the top 100 list!
    Nathaniel, Alessandra/Alexia.
It's just refreshing, since Liam used to be my top boys name and that's ranked #2 on this list.
    2O - Aries - Slytherin - Daycare Assistant Teacher

I was looking at my state list (Ohio) again, and a couple of things stood out:

    1. Jordan is more popular for BOYS in my state. It didn't even make the Top 100 for girls in Ohio. It's 55 for boys.

    2. With all the alternate spellings, Jackson/Jaxon/Jaxson is really the most popular boys name in my state. And that's without adding in Jack.

    3. Also, a question. Is Alivia supposed to be an alternate of Olivia? Because it's in the Top 100, and I just don't get it. It's not visually attractive in the least.

Alabama is pretty similar to the national average for gals. The only big difference was Anna.

    1. Emma (3 nationally)
    2. Ava (5 nationally)
    3. Madison (8 nationally)
    4. Olivia --same
    5. Isabella (2 nationally)
    6. Addison (13 nationally)
    7. Chloe (10 nationally)
    8. Elizabeth (11 nationally)
    9. Abigail (7 nationally)
    10. Anna --#38 nationally

For boys, there were a few differences. It looks like we have more 'traditional' names in the top ten, including James and John, also Jackson.

    1. William (3 nationally)
    2. Mason --same
    3. James --#17 nationally
    4. Jacob (1 nationally)
    5. John --#27 nationally
    6. Noah (5 nationally)
    7. Jayden (4 nationally)
    8. Elijah (13 nationally)
    9. Jackson --#23 nationally
    10. Aiden (9 nationally)

Apparently it is (http://www.behindthename.com/name/alivia). I consider them two different names personally just because they sound different IMO. Alivia = ah-liv-ee-ah and Olivia = oh-liv-ee-ah.
