    Red face Thoughts on Snow??

Just fell in love with the name Snow for a little girl!

I may consider it for a future daughter (since the one I'm pregnant with will be a September baby so it might be weird to name her Snow).

So I would like to know do you like Snow?

I don't like it on a child at all. What about Neve, which means snow?

I actually like Snow, but only as a MN. I met a woman once who had a little girl named Liliana Snow... which I think is really pretty. I had considered Charlotte Eden Snow, too, a while ago. Snow as a FN just feels a bit pretentious to me, though, a la Snow White. I wouldn't use Cinderella, and I wouldn't really use Snow as a fn, either.

    Good luck!

You could also go with Neige, the French word for snow. It has a softer sound imo, although snow in any language isnt generally used as a name (as far as I know) so there might be a possibility that your child will be teased.

I don't like Snow as a fn, and I'm usually a fan of word names. I prefer Winter in first place. Eira, Neive, and Neige are all legitimate names that mean "snow".

    I've loved Snow since I was about...11/12.

But I don't like it in the first spot, middle spot is great though! And yeah, it's weird to name a non-winter baby Snow imo.

I love it as a middle name (in fact, I'll probably use it myself as a mn) or a nickname. But as a first name, it's too cute.

I actually really like the sound of the spanish word for snow, Nieve, but Snow itself seems a bit odd to me.

I don't like snow, she'd be made fun of for Snow White. I also don't like nature names in general since I don't think they belong on people.....

It's pretty but the first things that come to my mind are President Snow (bad guy from hunger games) and Snow White. I really like it as a middle name.
