I voted for Lucy because I know way too many Lilys. They are all a bit older now, but still under the age of 10. Lucy is classic and hasn't been trendy for a while as far as I know.

I'm so tired of Lily, but Lucy still sounds fresh. And I think it also sounds better with Philomena.

I much prefer Lucy. Lily is nice but overused and too common.

    I voted for Lily.

In general, I much prefer the sound of the name Lily. When I hear someone call their child Lucy, I always hear "Loosey" and for whatever reason, that really turns me off.

I don't love the flow of Lily Philomena, and the name Lily is quite popular and trendy, but I just like the sound better than Lucy.

Lucy! I'm not the biggest fan of most flowery names, plus I've been hearing Lily and similar names EVERYWHERE lately. I realize Lucy is pretty popular too but there are very few popular variations to go with it.

I find Lucy much more classic and timeless, and Lucy Philomena sounds a lot better than Lily Philomena, which sounds off with the Lil and Phil sounds.

Love both! But with Philomena as the mn, I vote for Lucy.

I really want to love Lucy (and I am trying), but I also have the "Loosey" problem...

Lucy seems really childish and immature to me. I cannot see an adult Lucy. Lily is beautiful. Lily Seraphina is beautiful too!

Funny. Lila was on my list, too, but I dropped it for the same reason. I picked Lucy. Lily is just way too trendy right now. There are Lily's everywhere you turn. Whenever that happens with a name, it loses some of it's charm. Plus, I think Lucy will age better. I also agree with ellenelle about the "il" sound in the middle name. If you do go with Philomene for the middle name, it definitely sounds better with Lucy.
