Family names -- girls (very interesting)

I have geneology stuff dating back to the 1600s when my family was still living in England and Scotland. These are all from my grandmothers side as the only names I know from my grandfathers side are his parents, William Henry and Lily Ottilie.
The names at the beginning on the list start at about 1650s and end in the 1990s (some repeat A LOT [like William] so I'm listing them once and not bothering to count them. I'll only repeat if they're listed with a middle name)

There are some really interesting, gender bending, and foreign names on here! I hope you stick with it even though it long because I'm so proud of my family for their naming skills.

Wow. I wish I had that sort of access to history in my family.

And Friday, ahaha, I love it!

Wow! That is quite a list. Some fantastic names there. Your family obviously knew how to put names together.

My favorites are Clarissa, Maud Ann, Claudia Jean, Vivian, Virginia Marie, Theresa Lynn.

Was Norma Jean before or after Marilyn Monroe?

Also I have a sister named Angela Denice.
Favorite Boys - Everett William, Lawrence Graham, Edmund Nicholas,
Girls - Hattie Sophia, Aurora Genevieve

There are some really lovely names on here. Some that I really like are Lydia Jane, Lucy Alice, Mattie Beatrice, Willa, Louisa Jane (a name in my signature!), Sarah nn Sally, and Sadie. How cool that you have this information about your family!
    Current favorites:
Girls: Louisa Jane, Caroline Emma, Celia Rose, Lucy Adelaide/Beatrice

Boys: Henry, Nathaniel/Nathan, Avi, Elias, Asher

Name-obsessed twenty-something in the US. No kids right now, but will be TTC in a few years...it's fun to think of the possibilities in the meantime!

    @smash12 -- Before Marilyn Monroe ^_^

I think they did a great job. There are some that surprise me (Jessie Graham, Friday, Omega...) but as a whole, if I were forced to choose only family names, I think we'd be good. I LOVE Imogen nn Jinx and Cyrena.

Wow, I'm even a little jealous. So far most of the family history for me is Norwegian, so a lot of Helgas and other names I will/can not use. You have so many that are usable and great names!

Omega Joyce cracks me up. I wonder, was she the last child -- and were her parents thrilled about this?

    Awesome list, thanks for sharing!

Actually, Omega Joyce was #6 or 9.

There was one person in my family tree that had 19 kids and the average seemed to be 7-11. My grandma was one of 9.
