Hi. My name is Sasha Harmony MacAllister. He's my charismatic little extrovert and due to his opportunism, will probably be an entrepreneur some day!! Milo, on the other hand, is a very placid creature; focussed and practical in all areas of his life, he is also very tolerant and perceptive of others. He is the emotional thermometer of our family; he can always tell what everyone around him is truly feeling and adjusts his approach accordingly. He will make a great psychiatrist - if that's the career path he chooses!!

Just when Emmett and I think our hands are full, the stick turns blue yet again! 8 months later, we welcome Temperance Ivy Carrington. With her Mummy's hair and Daddy's eyes, there's no mystery as to where she came from. Kind-hearted, intuitive and soft spoken, it would be easy to assume that Miss Temperance would be a wallflower - but not this one!! Extremely musically gifted and with a quiet charisma, she wants to be a musician; a singer/songwriter, more specifically.

On Temperance's 5th birthday, I can't seem to shake a queasy feeling in my stomach. I mistake it for nerves over throwing a birthday party but when the party's over and I'm still unwell, Emmett gets worried and takes me to the doctor. The reason I've been feeling so crook - I'm pregnant again... And already 5 months along!!

3 months after this revelation, Napoleon Twain is born; my little "Leo". With dirty blonde hair and bright blue eyes, he's the spitting image of his Daddy. Much like his Daddy, Leo is kind-hearted, practical and tenacious but dependable and empathetic, like his Mummy. Leo loves his food and hopes to open his own restaurant one day, where his family can celebrate milestones and share in love and togetherness. He says they'll have to have a piano so Jazz and Temperance can perform too!

When Leo turns one, I have that same, unmistakeable feeling in my gut and I just know that I'm pregnant again. When those two little lines appear, clear as day, Emmett is over the moon! Another player to join Team Carrington!

Our newest addition is Ashton Willoughby Carrington. Due to his charismatic, confident enthusiasm for life, he has earned himself the nickname "Smash"!! With dark brown locks and emerald eyes, Smash is a fiercely loyal friend and very emotionally mature; well beyond his years. He wants to be a pediatric surgeon - or as he calls it "a baby doctor who fixes the babies".

After Smash, we feel our family unit is finally complete. Emmett is now 41, I'm 38, Jazz is 15 1/2, Birdie is 13 1/2, Milo and Felix are 11, Temperance is 10, Leo is 5 and Smash is 3 1/2. After working without a proper holiday for 15 years, Emmett is taking long service leave. We're packing up and hitting the road! For 6 months, we're going to drive around the United States and immerse ourselves in the culture. The kids will home-school. Jazz has started writing his musical, "The Nocturnal Nomad". Birdie has won various local and state writing competitions and can't wait for her first novel to be published. Milo is our quiet achiever; excelling in school and has lots of great friends. Felix is the class clown; a fact his teachers try to tamp down. Every school holidays, he comes up with a new scheme to make a few dollars; each with varying degrees of success! Temperance was in the school choir before we started this new adventure. She remains enthusiastic about her music. Leo loves to help me in the kitchen. He's my executive potato masher and my chocolate milk quality control specialist. Smash, although the youngest, is always looking out for the welfare of his older siblings. He covers them in bandaids and takes their temperatures every day.
