I was actually just thinking about this yesterday, after my 6 year old daughter named her new doll Agnes Emily (Agnes after her schoolteacher's mother and Emily after her best friend from church). She also named a stuffed bear Sarissa. The only ones I remember are the dolls I would get every year for Christmas, I always gave them Christmas-themed names: Holly and Merry.

My toys were rather mundanely named. Teddy, Puppy, Fluffy, etc. I did have a stuffed cat named Putt-Putt, though.

I was much more creative with pets' names - Rerun (hampster), Squirmy (hampster), Sheldon J. Turtle (self-explanatory), Finney (fee-nee, rabbit), and a variety of fish that ran the gamut from Orange Guy and Grey Guy to Whitney and Marcel.
Girls - Abigail, Georgianna, Anne, Charlotte, Claire, Genevieve, Annette, Eliza, Felicity, Hannah, Noelle, Eugenie, Grace, Phoebe, Philippa, Cecilia, Cecily, Elizabeth, Hollis, Piper, Lorelei, Vivienne, Paige, Carolina, Isobel, Lucy, Molly, Georgia, Victoria, Naomi

Boys - Bobby Sparklefritz until H can offer suggestions. Ones I like: Rory, Owen, Tyler, Ian, Elliot, Alexander, Ephraim, Levi, Jacob, Reid, Avery, Nathan, Miles, Jasper, Spencer, Toby, Dean, Philip

My first dolls were called Margaret and Penny. Which my mum thought was really odd because I was very young and she had no idea where I'd heard those names before! I used to get a new doll every year for Christmas, the ones I remember were called Sarah, Milly and Trudy.

I had a baby Miss Piggy (still have her) that I knew as Piggy. Very original. I can't recall any other toys having names until I was in my teens.

I do know that at some point I had a monkey I called Bubbles (after the friend who gave it to me, we called her Bubbles). And in my uni days I went to the Bathurst 1000 and bought a toy lion in HRT racing gear, which I named Murphy because that's who won the race that day. Totally inappropriate because Murphy didn't race for HRT, he drove the K-Mart Holden.

I am guilty of naming a few of my daughters toys though. The has dolls named Dolly and Polly (I made Polly), a bear named Charley, and a mermaid named Pheobe.

I mostly had dolls (And a LOT of them).

99% of the stuffed animals I had were TY Babies, so they came with names. (So did Bratz and Polly Pockets.)

Some of the first dolls I got were just names of people I knew. I didn't know any others, I guess:
    Tiffany (My cousin.)
    Tammy (My mom.)
    Tabitha (My name.)
    Linda (My grandma.)

When I got more creative, I had:
    Tracker
    Shawn
    Ursula
    Nicky
    Knocky
    Elizabeth
    Theresa
    Jessica
    Polly
    Britney
    Emily
Nikki (Yes, different than Nicky... Both girls, though.)
    Margo
    Krissy
    James
    Vivian
    Kailey
    Hailey
    Brian
    Lily

I even had one named Baby. I think that was one of the firsts too. :P

    I had webkinz too:
Snowbsll (Typed 'Snowball' wrong but like it anyway. Snow-BIZZ-AHL. :P)
    Zoey
    Lily
    Biddy-Bop-Bop
    Marcy
    Spot
...I had like 12 but I can't remember them for the life of me.

That's most of 'em I think. I can't remember them all.

I had so much because I was a dolls and stuffed animals child until the age of 10 (instead of 7 like normal people), so all I got for Christmas and birthdays were clothes, dolls and stuffed animals.

Don't even get me started on my Barbies or Littlest Petshop. Lmao.
