Here are some whimsical and different C names that you might like:
    Calypso
    Carrigan
    Carrington
    Coretta
    Cadeau (gift in French)
    Christmas
    Chantilly
    Channing
    Chance

Speaking of whimsical, something with a W would make her initials AWE, which is adorable, and more girly than ACE
    Winter
    Wren
    Willow
    Wisdom
    Wisteria

Alice Winifred Emery is super cute!

    Good luck!

    I've considered Alice Ann.

but since Ann isn't nature-like in the least bit:

    Alice Camellia
    Alice Cedar
    Alice Caraway
    Alice Carminda
    Alice Chailyn
    Alice Chandra
    Alice Chantel
    Alice Chelsea
    Alice Chloe
    Alice Claire
    Alice Corbin
    Alice Crystal
    Alice Cynthia

The ones I personally like are:
    1. Alice Chailyn Emery
    2. Alice Corbin Emery
    3. Alice Crystal Emery

I like the idea of going with a traditional first name and a more unique or current middle name, rather than the other way around.

    Alice Celia
    Alice Chloe
    Alice Carolina
    Alice Carina
    Alice Charlene
    Alice Clarisse

Thanks for the suggestions. We discussed Francesca, Isadora, Juniper, Wren, and a few of the other names mentioned here. A family friend just named her baby Willow, so that one is out. I'm wondering if people may call her "A.J." if her middle name begins with a J. I'm not keen on that nickname.

I feel like we've exhausted all the options and we're just going to end up picking something that we simply sort of like. These are great suggestions, though!

Oh, I should mention that I really liked Matilda for a while there, but my partner doesn't like it (and now I don't either). This naming business is hard!

My immediate thought was Cate, short and sweet.

    My recommendation is ...

Alice Cait Emery [2/1/3 syllable count]
Alice Claire Emery [2/1/3 syllable count]
Alice Clove Emery [2/1/3 syllable count]

Alice Coriander Emery [2/4/3 syllable count]

... a one- or four- syllable middle.
