Middle name for Vera
And the naming dilema continues....Vera was one of my initial suggestions for baby #2 (some of you might remember me posting about this) but husband wasn't too fond of it at the start. However, after some suggestions I gave that he HATED Vera suddenly isn't sounding so bad to him anymore.
Big sister's name is Roxanne Coraline. Our last name is one syllable so we do like the flow of 2-3-1.
I initially had Catherine (Katherine) as a middle name which I still think flows well together but I'm not sold on using the same letter/sound for a middle name. There are just SO many good names out there that I might as well keep the names different.
But this is where I need some help... I'm having a hard time finding something that flows well and doesn't end in "a".
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! And if anyone wants to throw out alternate first names I'm good with that as well. I do try to stay away from popular names. The only thing to keep in mind is that our last name is a nature name so Ivy, Willow, Iris etc simply don't work. (Which is too bad because those are some of the few names we would agree on)
I had suggested Simone before which he thought was OK ...but after I brought up Vera again he likes that better. I quite like Zara but hubby HATES that name. My husband leans towards names that I like on other peoples children, just not my own. (Eleanor, Priscilla, Theresa)
So as you can see this is why I need help. Please.

I love Vera, I posted about it today actually but I'm thinking it isn't ready for a comeback just yet in the UK. I'd love to meet a little Vera first before I even contemplate it just to see how it sounded on a little girl.

Love Vera too. Maybe old-fashioned to some, it is #45 in the Dutch charts.
I agree a 3-syllable middle name is quite difficult. I like the suggestion of Vera Jessamine very much!
Or how about:
Vera Beatrice,
Vera Eleanor (for your DH),
Vera Juniper (I know, nature, but nice!)
or
Vera Oriane
As first name suggestions, how about: Tessa (iso Theresa), Nora (iso Eleanor), Isis or Isla (iso Iris/Ivy), Celia (iso Priscilla) or Nina (because I like it!)

Vera is lovely. I know someone in their 30s with this name. Old-fashioned names are making a big comeback, but I bet it was tough for her growing up with an "old lady name".
Some three syllable names you might like:
Clementine
Josephine
Marguerite
Genevieve
Evangeline
Penelope
Persephone
Rosalie, Rosalind, Rosaleen, Rosaline, Rosalyn, Roselyn
Juliet
I adore the name Coraline, by the way!
