Leonard is cool, plus he would have the option to go by Leo if he wanted to. I highly doubt that anyone will give a second thought to BBT in a few years anyway.

My LO is Leo for short and everyone loves it, myself included. I wanted Leonardo but my husband would only agree on clunky but I think wearable Leopold.

Really like Leo, Leopold and Leon. But Leonard is pronounced differently and is too harsh, even for this BBT fan!

What's wrong with nerds? LOL I personally love nerds, married 1 and am one myself. Nothing wrong with being smart and unique and passionate. Besides, nerds and geeks are cool these days. I'd rather name my child a "nerd" name than something after one of the Kardashians or Jersey Shore or Desperate Whatevers.

My grandfather's name was Joseph Leo and he always went by Leo. I would use the name myself, but our last name starts with L and it sounds lispy to have 2 L names.
