    Love it? Hate it?

I love the name Otsana for a little girl. It is basque and means "she-wolf". Our closest family friend is basque and we have been considering her name as a mn if we have a boy. DHs name is Wolf so I think it's a really great connection for us.
I would love to use Carina Otsana meaning "dear little she-wolf"
Or Aidan Otsana meaning "fiery little she-wolf"
-Do you love it? Hate it? Would you use it? Tell us your opinion

I love Carina Otsana. It's lovely! I think it's a great connection to you.

I don't like Aidan on a girl as I thought it was a boys name originally >.< So I would not do that, besides it's so popular for a boy.
    Love Carina Otsana <3

I was going to say hate it until I realized you were using it as a middle. I think the middle spot is a great way to use a different name that you love that holds meaning to you. I like the connection between she-wolf and your husbands name a lot!

I used to like Aidan for a girl, but because it's so widely popular for boys, she'll be lost in a sea of multiple male Aidan's in her class. And I don't like the Carina because they both end in an uh sound. What about Eden instead of Aidan? I read somewhere that Edan is a variant of Aidan, and holds the same meaning, but it does looked misspelled, so I don't know how you'd feel about that. I'd search more female names with the same meanings if you're set on that meaning.

I think Otsana is gorgeous. I know you didn't ask for name suggestions, but I immediately thought of Sorcha Otsana when I saw it. I'm not sure why, just thought I'd share.

Thanks! I definitely was not considering Otsana for a boy! That sounds crazy to me since it's so feminine.

I think Carina Otsana is really beautiful. I love that. Otsana is nice, but I think in general I prefer Oksana.

I like it but I love Basque names (but not brave enough to use them). I dont care for Carina or Aidan but I like an Aidan sounding name best with it. I say go for it with whatever first name you like.

    Otsana is nice
Why would you use "she wolf" for a boy? What about Dacian- the wolf people of ancient Dacia?
    I know a 20-something girl named Dacia: "day-sha" , "dah-sha", "dah-see-ah", she prefers "day-see-ah"

    Other wolf names
    Phelan
    Rudolph/Rolf
    Conan
    Raul
    Rafe

I'm really not sure why this is so confusing, but I am %100 sure I never said that I was considering this name for a boy....in fact In the first sentence I said I loved it for a GIRL

From your original post you said "Our closest family friend is basque and we have been considering her name as a mn if we have a boy."

Then one of your names was Aidan Otsana, which is what was confusing I think. I get it now though. ^_^ Just for your information.
