Welcome my first daughter, Evie Lynn Harrison!
After deliberating over many names, not knowing which gender our little 'un was to be-we came up with a boy AND girl short list.
During a beautiful water birth, we were still discussing names we liked and ones we were thinking twice about. Even after our baby girl was brought from underneath me and placed on my chest, and we stared at her - she just didn't look like any of the names we could come up with.
I really liked Evelyn, my partner not so much but he countered with Evie... at this point family and friends got the ''no name yet!'' reply to all their frantic messages.
The day after we were looking up meanings and trying to find a middle name that we felt was right, and my partner stumbled upon Lynn which means ''pool,waterfall'' It was meant to be after birthing her in water it was perfect, combined with Evie which means ''life''.
Evie Lynn Harrison born 27th April 2012 at 20:02 weighing 8lb 8 1/2oz
