Ahhh! Someone help!
I'm 27 weeks pregnant with my 2nd daughter and am in desperate need of help! My husband and I just cannot agree on a name for her. Our oldest daughter's name is Sophia Alana, so it has to be something that will agree with her name. However, the last name ends with the -ell sound so we don't want a name that rhymes (ie. Isabelle, Anabelle, etc.) I prefer unique names, something that not every other kid has. I settled on Sophia's name and don't want to do the same this time around. I've made numerous lists and just can't get my husband to budge on anything that I like. Any suggestions? Maybe you could help us think of something we haven't thought of already!

Would you be able to give us a little more to go on? What are some of the names you've already discussed? Do you want a popular name or something a little bit less popular this time?
I'll suggest a few now, let me know if anything interests you and I'll offer some more...

I'd prefer something a little less popular this time around. Some of MY favorites are Willow, Piper, Calliope, Stella, Laken, Avery, emsley, Everly, Daphne and Ellasyn, among many others (I've had a hard time narrowing). My husband loves Marley and he's stuck on that name and just will not budge! I like Marley, but I don't love it and I had. a really good friend in high school named Marlee and I don't really speak with her much anymore but I wouldn't want people to associate the two. I really like Isadora and he shot that down as well.

If you like Isadora, what about...Isla, Dora, Dorathea/Dorothy...
If he likes Marley, what about...Marla, Mara, Hayley, Millicent/Mila nn Millie...
If none of those do it for you, I think these sound nice with big sister Sophia's name:
Lillian nn Lilly
Penelope nn Penny
Juliette
Calla
Waverly
Harper
Clare
Celeste

I'm trying to think of some names that might be similar to Marley, but more feminine and in line with the names you like. What about:
Marina
Marlies (Dutch name)
Margeaux
Marielys
Marliese
Leonie
Therese
Margaret
Marlena
Martha
Louisa
Marcella
Martine/Martina
Or what about using Marley as a mn?
Lucia Marley
Delilah Marley
Cecilia Marley
Electra Marley
