I was watching an episode of Sister Wives the other day & the children all have really interesting names that I thought I'd share them with you. The spellings, I think, are particularly interesting.It's also interesting to see their naming styles that are different among the different moms.

Logan, 17 - I like this one

Mariah, 17 -Not a fan. Probably since I don't care for Mariah Carey.

Aspyn, 16 -I'd like it if it were spelled right (Aspen). I'm not a fan of trendy/kre8if spellings.

Madison, 16 -Just okay. Overdone.

Hunter, 15 -I like this.

Mykelti, 15 -Not a fan. Sounds made up and spelled oddly.

Paedon, 13 -Again, not a fan.

Garrison, 13 -Nope

Dayton, 12 -Nope

Gabriel, 10 -This is okay. Nms but I don't hate it.

Gwendyln, 10 -I'd like it better spelled Gwendolen or even Gwendolyn

Aurora, 10 -Love this, especially with a nn of Roree/Rory

Breanna, 8 -Nms

Ysabel, 8 -Hate the spelling.

Savanah, 7 -Like

Truely, 2 -Dislike, made-up trendy name.

Aspyn, 16 - LOVE!! LOVE!!!

Madison, 16 - I like this one, but I think it's a bit over-used.

Hunter, 15 - Yes, like.

Mykelti, 15 - Hmmm...

Paedon, 13 - Would prefer it spelled "Paeden." This used to be one of my fave names a couple of years ago!!

Garrison, 13 - Nope.

Dayton, 12 - It's okay.

Gabriel, 10 - DISLIKE!

Gwendyln, 10 - Like.

Aurora, 10 - Very cute!! Sleeping Beauty! Especially like with the nn. Rory.

Breanna, 8 - Also dated.

Ysabel, 8 - Like.

Savanah, 7 - It's alright. Would prefer it with 2 "n's."

Truely, 2 - Reminds me of "Truly Scrumptious" from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Like.

Soloman, 6 months - Dislike.

Madison, 16 - overused, and prefer Madeleine anyway.

Mykelti, 15 - looks made up but NB lists it as a Native American name.

Paedon, 13 - all I can see is 'paedo' with an n on the end. Poor kid.

Garrison, 13 - don't like

Dayton, 12 - meh.

Gabriel, 10 - like

Gwendyln, 10 - don't like, hate the trendy spelling too.

Aurora, 10 - don't like

Breanna, 8 - hate Bre- names.

Ysabel, 8 - like, unusual spelling though.

Savanah, 7 - like, but would prefer double n.

Truely, 2 - Truly Scrumptious is my association too.

Haha, I watch this show all the time and I knew a post would show up eventually. I looked it up to make sure I was right and these are the sibsets (within the giant sibset...)

1. Mariah
2. Logan, Madison, Hunter, Garrison, Gabriel, Savanah
3. Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, Truely
4. Dayton, Aurora, Breanna, Solomon

The 2nd sibset is actually really, really nice. Very consistent stylistically (not that it matters that much in the grand scheme of things) and all the names are nice. The name Mariah is passable to me, and the 4th sibset is as well. I quite like Aurora and Solomon is very strong and unique. The 3rd sibset, however, is trying to be trendy and creative but just looks misspelled. The names pretty much all seem made up. Not a fan at all!

Love the second sibset! Very easy to pronounce and spell. I like thier mother the best, she seems more independent than the others.

I hate Ysabel. Isabel looks so much prettier, the y is just icky!

I also hate the Aspyn spelling, it should be Aspen.... Truely is just icky, I don't like very many virtue names, but just name her True if that's what want! Gwendyln is also misspelled.... the other names aren't bad.... but Paedon, Dayton and Mykelti are just nms
