Thanks Mischa! We do love Willa but would the "uh" sound at the end of Gregor and Willa when said aloud make Lorcan sound out of sync? x

For me, the sound isn't very similar between Willa and Gregor. Do you actually say "greg-uh" in your accent? I definitely say it like "greg-er" (just Gregory with the "y" chopped off. . I love the way the three names look together: Lorcan, Gregor and Willa! You've been trying to find the perfect name for your girl that you may be overthinking. I think they're a wonderful sibset.
    All the best,
    Mischa.

Love these names! I think they sound great together! Willa is also lovely, but if you are concerned about the endings being similar, go with Sage/Saige. Definitely no problem with the G's in Gregor and Saige. They are different G sounds entirely so no issue there!

I think it's fine, but would spell it Sage not Saige. That looks stupid.

I fell in love with Sage when I read about Kyra Phillips' twins named Kellan and Sage. Kellan instantly reminded me of Lorcan in terms of its vibe, and I thought how great Sage sounded with it: rustic, sweet and strong, sturdy, historical, unusual. Only thing is I already have a Gregor so all in all that's a lot of 'g'. I know the sound is different but don't the three names scan oddly together, I don't know, just like there are prominent g's in Gregor and Saige and then, randomly, Lorcan - no 'g'!?! Does it stand out on paper? I think that's what's worrying me, I need convincing that the names LOOK balanced, rather than SOUND good together - does taht make sense? Is there enough tying the whole set together? xx

I like the three, particularly Lorcan and Saige.

I also debate the use of Saige vs Sage. I like the traditional Sage, and think it has the benefit that this is how people would spell it naturally, so there wouldn't be too much confusion on that front. But I also love the way Saige looks, particularly as I also love Paige and so spelling it Saige would be a nice nod to Paige while still using a much less popular anme than Paige, if that makes sense. Is there a reason for you choosing Saige over Sage?

Hi Bluejuniper, that's so weird, the exact reason I would be spelling it Saige would be to honor a Paige!! Really thrilled that you could see that possibility. As a sidenote, I happen to visually like Saige better than Sage, it looks more feminine to me, but that may be because of the Paige link in my mind.

My main concern is that Lorcan 'looks' left out compared to the other two G heavy names?
