We need help starting a list!!!

Hi, I'm pregnant with baby #3 Due August 3rd, and we didn't find out the sex. Both My husband and I are having a really hard time coming up with ANY boy names that we like or agree on. For a girl so far we like Kennedy Jean, or Harlee Claire. I kinda like Jade Matthew for a boy, but my husband hates it. Any suggestions would be great!! Big brother is Brady Michael and big sister is Reese Taylor. We like trendy, but different...not to common. Thanks in advance!!

    Hi there, a5marks!

I must start by being honest - I'm not really a fan of either of your first names for girls. Kennedy strikes me as more of a boys' name, and I don't like the spelling of Harlee. I do love Jean and Claire for middle names (or first names), though!

Jade for a boy is very interesting. I kind of like it, actually - but I think a boy named Jade would have a tough time since most Jades are girls.

    Some suggestions you might like:

Girls - Honor, Ivy, Remy, Quinn, Sayer, Waverly (love this for you, very similar to Kennedy and Harlee but super sophisticated!)

Boys - Gale (similar sound to Jade, beginning to be used for boys again), Jasper (a gem name like Jade), Owen

Girls - Abigail, Georgianna, Anne, Charlotte, Claire, Genevieve, Annette, Eliza, Felicity, Hannah, Noelle, Eugenie, Grace, Phoebe, Philippa, Cecilia, Cecily, Elizabeth, Hollis, Piper, Lorelei, Vivienne, Paige, Carolina, Isobel, Lucy, Molly, Georgia, Victoria, Naomi

Boys - Bobby Sparklefritz until H can offer suggestions. Ones I like: Rory, Owen, Tyler, Ian, Elliot, Alexander, Ephraim, Levi, Jacob, Reid, Avery, Nathan, Miles, Jasper, Spencer, Toby, Dean, Philip

What's your thoughts on Roxanne? My husband had mentioned it today, and I'm on the edge about it. My only thoughts are that both Brady and Reese are shorter names, with no nick name. So would it be weird if we chose a longer name like Roxanne with a nickname Roxy? PS... Still stuck on the boys names.

For a boys name, what about one of the following-- they seem similar to Brady:

    Ryan
    Cody
    Carter
    Travis
    Toby
    Tyler
    Parker
    Cole
    Chase
    Luke
    Gavin
    Cooper
    Vance
    Reagan
    Riley
    Kyle
    Logan
    Connor
    Blake
    Austin
    Dylan
    Rory

I do like Roxanne nn Roxy for a girl, but it does seem to have a little different feel than Brady and Reese. What about one of the following instead:

    Riley
    Harper
    Carter
    Reagan
    Avery
    Sydney
    Paige
    Addison
    Tyler
    Megan
    Peyton
    Lauren

Honestly, I don't care for trendy names like Kennedy or Harlee and Jade is too girly for a boy. Jude would be better.
Instead of Kennedy, what about Kendall or Kenzie? Instead of Harlee, how about Harlow or Harper?
Brady and Reese are not overly trendy, but they are well liked and well known names.
hmmm maybe you would like one of these with Brady and Reese:
Boys: Beckett, Bennett, Ren, Ryland/Rylan, Rory, Carson, Carter, Dane, Dade, Jett, Jove?
Girls: Britt, Brielle, Cassie, Finley, Ainsley, Regan, Halle/Hallie, Keely, Kya, Rya, Shay, Sloane, Addison

    My recommendation is ...

    01. Brady [Irish - 2 syllables]
    02. Morgan [Welsh - 2 syllables]
    03. Reese [Welsh - 1 syllable]
    04. Quinn [Irish - 1 syllable]

... as a sibset [if applicable in the future ].

Please don't call him Jade. While I don't mind it on a boy, the sibset Brady, Reese and Jade ends up looking like two big brothers and their little sister. Kennedy and Harlee are both sweet, but I am just not all that into either one. Kennedy will always bring me to JFK and family, and Harlee (no matter the spelling) brings me right to motorcycles. Harley could make a really cool name for a son though... some other ideas:
    Girls...
    Marley
    Gelsey
    Sage
    Sloane
    Tatum
    Trilby
    Kendall
    Quinn
    Cassidy
    Cedar

    Boys...
    Slade
    Devon
    Talon
    Zade
    Zane
    Murphy
    Channing
    Quinn
    Gordon
    Schuylar

So we've added another one to the list... Parker Davis. Does it flow ok with Brady and Reese?
