***PLEASE VOTE*** for our baby girl's name :)

After months of endless name list scannings, discussions with friends and co-workers, and eliminations due to relatives' and friends' child names, we've narrowed down our list to five names and are requesting berry's votes to help us finalize our decision. This is our first child and will be a baby girl due June 7. We're also open to other name suggestions as well as any middle name recommendations. Thanks for your help!!!

Kaia for me! I absolutely adore it. It sounds like a little fairy's name to me. So light and airy and sprightly, and I love that it means "pure"--it's a Scandinavian form of Catherine, I believe. I've considered it several times for my own list.

There's really only one Kaia combo I love--Kaia Elisabeth--but it's probably really filler to others. But since I have a huge thing for Elisabeth, regardless of where it is, I would use it anyway. What about:

    Kaia Sophie
    Kaia Emily
    Kaia Juliet
    Kaia Isabelle
    Kaia Imogen
    Kaia Felicity
    Kaia Penelope
    Kaia Winter
    Kaia Hope
    Kaia Jane
    Kaia Grier
    Kaia Daphne
    Kaia Seraphina
    Kaia Tabitha
    Kaia Tess

    Good luck!

    I love Sienna!!

Second choice would be Kaia. I think I prefer that spelling. My friend's daughter's name is spelled Kieya, to give you another option, though she's a fan of "making the name unique by spelling it differently" (she mentioned this is why her son's name, Kaeden, is unique. Had to bite my tongue, lol).

I think you won't go wrong with those names.
Alana is a name that annoys me because I really like it but the fact that it can be said and spelled so many ways is bound to make her life a pain. Every time she has a new teacher they could say it as A-lan-ah, Alan-ah. Spelling- Alana, Alanna, Alanah, Alannah... some folks may even use an E- Elana etc. An option is Lana- it may be easier to see/say.
I think Amara has the same feel but is more likely to have correct prn/ spelling. I voted Amara.
Love Love Love Kaia... but again could be Kiah, Kyah ( as pp said- Keiya!!) etc. But at least they will probably say it right.
Sienna- can't spell that too much differently unless you get kree8ive. See and say name- but I do like the way Amara or Kaia sound.
Mya is not quite as pretty as the others due to the fact it is rather short.
Overall: if you want easy to see and say go Sienna. If you want pretty go Amara or Kaia. If you just love it, go Alana- but I suggest considering Lana or Lara. Mya- maybe she will look just like a Mya, in which case use it.

    PS LOVE your name

I voted for Amara because it is a pretty name with a beautiful meaning. Also, my niece's name is Amara. And she is an awesome kid. The other names I feel are a bit more trendy and not as timeless.
