Ellison or Sloane? Baby coming this week!
My c-section just got bumped up a week and baby girl #2 will be here this week! My husband and I can't agree on a name.
Our daughter's name is Campbell and our last name is two syllables and starts with C. My fave is Ellison Lena (Lena is my Nana's middle name and my sister's name). Hubby likes Sloane; possibly with the middle name Emilia (another family name). Other names on the short list are Carrigan and Keaton. Since our first born's name is a unisex-surname name, I want to follow the same pattern with #2. The other issue is we are both teachers and that's eliminated many names. Help!

I think Cambell and Carrigan are a great match. Especially because your last name starts with a 'C', and well, both names are just fantastic!

I like Sloane best, and Sloane Emilia is really pretty.
Ellison is so similar to Allison, I think they would be easily confused. There are also so many El- names out there--Elizabeth, Ella, Eliana, Eleanor, and so on--Ellison just sort of blends in with the crowd. Sloane is more of a standout choice.

I like Sloane Emilia a lot. I find that both Ellison Emilia and Ellison Lena sound too much alike. I don't really like Carrigan or Keaton. If you're open to some other options for the last name-inspired names, I really love Delaney- I think it goes nicely with Emilia. I also like Reese. However, these names lean more toward girly, and you seem to like more unisex-type names.
