I love the name Edith, but I don't know if I could ever inflict that on a child. Unless I move to England (which I hope to do!) I probably wouldn't use it. I also love Eugenia and Euphemia (the latter being the ultimate guilty pleasure) but I don't have enough gumption to use it either. I love some lengthy French names, and a few Russian ones as well, but since I live in a part of the country where my last name gets butchered on a daily basis (it too is long and French) I don't think it would be very practical.
I love the author Irène Némirovsky, but I'm too chicken to use the name Irène, plus the whole pronunciation issue.

I love the name Harvest for a girl. I don't know why. I once told my friends that I liked the name and they looked at me a bit weirdly.

For a boy, I love the name Julian. Although it's not a very wild name, I just wouldn't feel like I could use it.

I really like Caberlai (Kaberle) its after Thomas Kaberle the hockey player. I think i would still use it eventually, but i think people would make fun of the name because it is so unique and sounds more of a last name than a first.
Another boy name i love but i dont know if i have the guts to use it is Auden. It sounds like a name that sounds mis pronounced by a young childen thats tring say to 'Arden'. I really love it and its unique yet again, but its such an iffy name to go for.

For girls names i love the name Echo, again i dont want my child to be made fun of for a unique name. Echo is a name that would suit a young child and is super cute and girly, but growing up, would i regret it! Another name that i love but are so unsure to use it.

I love the names Clover, Maple and Juniper; also occasional word named like Reverie.
I just wish they were older and more legitimate as adult names, because I am so enchanted with the sound/image that they all conjure up!
Hm, although even if these names were totally enveloped into naming culture they don't fit with my usual style.
I'm pretty much sunk anyway, basically. Do love 'em though
mum to the lovely Harriet Katia (10) Beatrix Liv (6) and Cordelia Joyce (4) and Lionel Rafferty (1 whole year already)
