    As a matter of fact, yes, another luc- variant would make a difference.

    To me, the Spanish variants below best complement the Germanic Josef, which actually feels Spanish to me, because in Spanish, "ph" is replaced with "f".

    English: Lucania / Lucasta / Lucetta / Lucy
    French: Lucille / Lucrece
    Italian: Lucia / Luciana
    Latin: Lucida / Lucretia
    Spanish: Lucera / Lucero / Lucilla / Lucinda
