Help! 6 Weeks to go and need names!

Hi All, We have 6 weeks to go until we meet baby no3 and my hubby and I still cant agree on names. I am starting to feel quite stressed about it so would LOVE some suggestions

We have 2 kids Brodie Cooper and Keely Maeve. We kind of agree on Isla Rose for a girl but its not set in stone and we would like Daniel as a middle name for a boy as it honours my younger brother that was stillborn.

Some names we have considered recentley but havnt exactley agreed on are: Hamish, Declan (cant really use with Daniel though), Eli, Elijah, Liam, Oliver, Isaac, Logan, Hudson. Wdyt?

We did like Layla Grace for a girl but have since liked Isla Rose? We cant really think of any other girl names. We did like Violet but are last name starts with N and as strange as it sounds if she was one of 2 in a class and was known as Violet N. To me N is the only letter missing from the name being Violent and it just doesnt feel right to me lol.

We both have big families and there are so many lovely names already taken which makes it even harder

Both Isla and Layla are lovely names. Maybe you're not set on them because of the middle? Try looking through some name lists here on Nameberry, of middle names, virtue names (if you're into that) or a name that honours someone... to maybe freshen up your Isla or Layla combinations. Here are a couple names that remind me of Layla or Isla, if you'd like a few new ideas:

    Lyla
    Lola
    Nola
    Isobel
    Ayla
    Iris

As for boys, I really like:
    Isaac Daniel
    Hudson Daniel
    Elijah Daniel (could nn Eli)
    Eli Daniel
    Oliver Daniel

    Good luck!

I really like Logan Daniel and Layla Grace. Also, Daniella is a lovely middle name for a girl, I know quite a few girls with that name.

Thank you, we have looked through so many lists but nothing seems to jump out, I cant believe how hard it is this time around. I love Isobel but we have a Isabelle in our family , Lyla and Ayla are nice too. My husband and I both like Eli but my reservation is that we have a nephew Levi, so could get a little confusing, so I suggest Elijah but hubby doesnt like it . Isaac is a new one on the list, even though we know a few, we like it, do you think they would get nn Zac? that would really annoy me. We loved Oliver from the start but its so popular where we live, my son and daughter have a few in there classes too. Any fresh boy suggestions very welcome

I don't think Isaac would get Zac as a nn. Some other boy suggestions:

Elias (could still do nn Eli, which I think is so cute and handsome! Also, IMO Eli and Levi might be too similar for siblings, but I don't think they're too similar for cousins)
    Silas
    Henry
    Elliot
    Cameron
    Callum
    Caleb
    Miles/Myles

I think those all sound really nice with Daniel.

Hi from one Aussie to another

I love your choice of Isla Rose, that is a very pretty name that will stand out in the crowd.

Have you considered Lachlan which is the modern Aussie parents favourite? I love Lachlan and Lachlan Daniel is a great combo.

From your list I like all the suggestions except Logan and I think with your sibset I would choose Liam

    Or
    Zane
    Dane
    Alexander nn Zander
    Isaiah
    Joel
    Jonathan

    PS What about Miles?

    And Everett nn Rhett
    Owen
    Rhys
    Eamon

Thanks claireelise I think Elias is handsome too unfortunantley our last name ends with s so it doesnt quite sound right which also rules out Silas. Thank you for your other suggestion too, would you believe that Elliot, Cameron, Callum and Myles are all out due to close friends and family. Henry and Caleb are ones we will consider.

Thanks Rollo, I would agree Lachlan is definantley a fav here down under and would be great with our kids names but its another we cant use as is Miles/Myles .
I have gone off Logan a little myself when I realise how easy it could be turned into "bogan" which is not a nice word to be called at school in Australia lol.

My hubby's name is Rhett I like Dane, Owen and I do like Eamon but worry about how others would pronounce it.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Feel free to keep more boys names coming, hoping the mn to be Daniel. Bonus points for a 6 letter boy name . Girls are either going to be Isla Rose, Layla Grace or Freya Grace.
