Liviana?? Is it a real name??

I came across this as a name this morning, and thought it was so pretty... I can't find much info on it... is it a real name? I love Livia, but am concerned that people would always be asking her if it is Olivia... Liviana sounds more distinctive???

I looked it up--there's an Italian designer named Liviana Conti, so it's probably real. I prefer Livia, but this is really pretty.

I thought this said Lavinia at first and I think a lot of people might make the same mistake with Liviana. I don't know if it's made up, but it has a made up sound to me and I would rather Lavinia Ana or Olivia Ana nn Liviana or Livia or Liv, Livi, whichever you prefer.

Do you think Livia would be asked all of her life is her name was Olivia??? Livia is a name of it's own, but with the popularity of Olivia, I am not sure how it would work......

I think people would ask if it was short for Olivia pretty often. I knew someone who named their daughter Stasia as in stay-zja and people would always say Anastasia or ask if her full name was Anastasia.

I read it as Lavinia at first glance too...which is pretty in a very vintage way.

I do know a 5 year old Livia who goes by Liv. I dont really know if I'd choose it over Olivia (doesnt add anything imo) but to each their own, Liv is pretty.

Liviana...never met one, but it works for me. You might have some issues w/ people mispronouncing/mistaking it for Lavinia, but the sound is pretty.

I thought it was Lavinia at first, but I think Liviana is pretty. I do think Livia would get asked if it was short for Olivia, but I am aware it is a real name on its own.
The only thing I could find was that this might be a feminine form of a Roman family name Livianus which means to envy or envious.

I like it a lot! I've come across it several times so I always figured it was legit.

I also love Livana, which is a Hebrew name, I believe. Quite similar, but even more distinctive from Olivia, imo.
