    Vega...?

What do you think; is it too trendy, or a genuine find? I like it but wouldn't want it to sound outdated or made up.

I love it. It was quite trendy in Sweden a few years back. Not so much anymore. I think its very cool and spunky, along the same lines as Nova and Luna.

Sorry, not really a fan. I just think (Las) Vegas. And then vegan.

Hmm... I think Vegan. So I'm not a fan of it either. Have you considered Vera? I think Vera is a nice alternative.

Isn't there an actress with the surname Vega? I don't think its particularly feminine, so I'm not a fan. Its not the worst though.

I think of the star/system first (and of course Sagan's CONTACT), then Vada Sultenfuss. Both lovely associations

As a fan of celestial names, I think Vega has a great appeal -- though as strawberry shortcake noted, certainly tomboyish (not a bad thing). I picture a spunky, possibly quirky and very appealing girl. Ellen Page could carry Vega well.

Hmm, I don't find Vega very tomboyish, but I can see Ellen Page being a Vega

I've never heard of Vega being used as a first name, but I really like it.

I like it, its strong and interesting, although I do prefer Veda over it.
