I would be very upset if someone did that to me, especially 15 names! As other's have said if it is very special to them like their parents names or something along those lines then I would stay away, unless of course it was also a family name of mine. Other than that I think I would tell them "I'm sorry but I've had my heart set one "enter name here" for along time and I'm not going to give it up just because you MIGHT use it in the future".

I'm actually really offended that they straight up told you which names are off limits. That's so rude and distasteful.

How are you pronouncing Mila. If its pronounced MY-luh then it is close, but it still shouldn't stop you from using the name, if its pronounced the way Mila Kunis says it, then it is even further from Lila. I wouldn't worry about it either way.

Are these people for real? They want to reserve 15 names for some yet-unconceived future maybe child? Tell them to give their heads a shake. Given that you have a baby who needs a name in your uterus as we speak, I'd say they're in poor position to try to lay dibs on naming rights.
