Aidan - I've always really love this name but unfortunately I couldn't use it because if it's popularity. If it doesn't bother you, it's still a great name!
Angus nn Gus - I don't like this at all. Reminds me of Angus meat.
Brendan nn Dan/ Danny - LOVE Brendan, really don't like using Dan/Danny as a nn.
Duncan - I like it but it's a friend's last name so I wouldn't use it.
Dylan - It's ok.
Declan nn Dex - Sorry, I really don't like this name.
Elliott- LOVE! Eli could work.
Evan nn Ev - Love! I'd have it on my list but it's an ex's name so maybe a little weird.
Farrell - Don't like it.
Fergus nn Gus - Don't like it.
Fergall - No.
Finley nn Finn - It's ok.
Flynn - Ok.
Galen - Honestly, I don't think I'd go with a name with the word "gay" in it. For some reason kids still think it's an insult to call someone gay and it's an easy way to make fun of someone. Kids are cruel :-/
Keegan - It's ok.
Morgan - I don't really like this name on either sex.
Mitchell nn Mitch - It's ok.
Nolan - LOVE! A two syllable name really doesn't need a nn btw.
Oren/ Orrin - Don't like.
Quade - Don't like.
Rhys - Love!
Riordan nn Dan/ Danny or nn Rory - I don't like it.
Rohan - It's ok. What about Ronan?
Ryan - Good name.
Torin - It's ok.
Tully - Sounds like a nn. Not a fan.
Tynan nn Ty - It's ok.
Ronan - Oh, here's Ronan! Haha. I like it. Doesn't need a nn.
Lachlan - It's ok. Not a fan.

My favourites are:
Brendan
Duncan
Dylan - Quite popular though.
Declan - Dex is a cute nn.
Elliott - I think nn Eli could work.
Farrell
Galen - Or how about Gavin or Gareth? Or Gryffith?
Rhys - This spelling is all male to me.
Riordan - Hard to know if this is usable for you, for me yes (I'm in the UK).
Rohan - I don't think it's girl-napped... Is it?!
Torin - I prefer Tobin.
Tynan
Ronan
Lachlan
These might be too similar to the 'taken' names, but how about:
Owen 'taken' - How about Ewan or Euan?
Ethan 'taken' - How about Eamonn?
Kieran 'taken' - How about Kian?
I also like Callum and Malcolm.
