And my husband sees no point giving a kid a name if you don't intend on actually using it unless it's same name as father thing. Like his brother is named after his dad & has always gone by his middle name. And he's got a nephew that is a junior & he's known by his middle name.

I do like my name, but Arrow is so much easier to pronounce & spell. So I won't even consider giving her my name for either first or middle.

I like Arrow for a girl! But I think with Hunter it's a little much...but if you're ok with that you should just go for it.
    Maybe Arwen, Arwyn, Sparrow, Arlo?

Yes, Liv Tyler played Arwen in LOTR and Bones is why I love Temperance so! lol Arwen Temperance is pretty. I'm such a nerd.

Also, I just have to get this off my chest. People talk bad about naming children the names of weapons yet people name their children after presidents who send men to fight in wars with weapons. They also name their children after the likes of Bruce or Jet. Sometimes weapons and war and fighting in general are used in honorable ways. Maybe I just come from a different set of values, but I see nothing wrong with hunting to provide for your family. At least you know where your meat is coming from and it doesn't have PINK SLIME in it! I also see nothing wrong with owning weapons either to hunt with or protect oneself with as long as one does so with respect and honor.... as the elves would have. lol
If you are like me and live anywhere in the southern states of America then you will have no problems with people thinking you're crazy for naming your children Hunter and Arrow. Like I said before, you gave them those names for different reasons and you don't have to explain that to anyone.

I couldn't agree with you more, caty_beth89! My husband was born & raised in western NC & though we are in southern PA, you can't remove the southern culture from the man. And PA is a big hunting state too! I was born & raised in SD (I thought it was odd to use Dakota for a name)...in neither southern or yankee...my father-in-law calls me a wankee. LOL

I still like the sound of Arrow Love. I pointed out to hubby tonight..Jennifer Love Hewitt, you think she's hot & she's got Love in her name! I don't think that swayed him any. LOL

Arrow Love sounds very cupidesque. lol I made up a word. I would think it would remove some of the violence that people see so much of in Arrow. If your husband is like mine though, he's stubborn. Don't talk about Love as a name for a month or two then come back to it if you don't find anything you like more. Sometimes that works to my advantage and my hubby changes his mind. lol Good luck!

Arrow is definitely different for a girl. However, being as I never before thought of it as a name I don't think it sounds boyish like others do. And you have such a strong feeling towards it that I am rooting for you to use it. However I would use a very very normal middle name(s) to balance it out otherwise it's going to sound all Peaches Honeyblossom 3rd, 4th, and 5th middle name, and I beg you, please don't do that. I would never do something like Arrow Love. It's a bit too out there.

Arrow Tabitha Belle is really very beautiful, balanced and it gives your daughter the "Beautiful" name for her baby sister. I think that's perfect!

I think this is also a bit funny since my husband and I put two bows and arrows into layaway last month. I've always wanted to learn archery and now I'm finally getting to!! Maybe that's why Arrow grew on me so quickly! ;-) And oddly enough, I too am in PA!

I did love caty_beth's other suggestion of Arrow Temperance though. But I too love both LOTR and Bones. Geek love. I think though in this case I adore the double middle name (I usually don't), and Arrow Temperance Belle could be another terrific option!

I like Arrow a lot. I do think Arrow and Hunter is too matchy and takes away from the distinctiveness of the name. It would be enough to sway me personally, however, I don't see that as a big enough reason to scratch it because you love the name so much. Arrow Tabatha is quite catchy

I think arrow is pretty, but hunter and arrow is too much, and feel that it makes Zoe the third wheel.
