    Name for nn Monty?

I love the name Monty, but feel it is just a little too much like a nickname. Any suggestions for full names?

Well, there are the obvious Montague and Montgomery, but if those are too surnamey for you, I think Edmond would work.

    Seraphine, Eulàlia

    Love Monty!
I would use this if hubby didn't dislike it. Personal fav is Montgomery, but Montana is good too! If you don't like these, Monte looks less nick-namey.

    Montgomery was my first thought.
Any name ending in -mond would technically work but miss the t sound:
    Edmond
    Armand
    Desmond
    Redmond
You could always pull an Indiana Jones and go with Montana, but I think that would require you to really love the name, which, honestly, I don't.

    Good luck!
"But it is so happy to love," said the Shepherd quietly. "It is happy to love even if you are not loved in return. There is pain too, certainly, but Love does not think that very significant."

Montgomery & Montague were my first thought too, though I think Montana's pretty cool

    Beaumont
Demonte- is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont
    Lamont- Scottish clan name
    Monterey

    good luck!

Thanks! Ugh. I wish it wasn't so difficult! Monty is my grandpas name. Well, it is actually Montain, but he goes by Monty, and I don't know if Montain is too much..

The only additional one I can think of is Montpellier - which is probably a bit over the top.

I like Montgomery, handsome! Maybe Remington nn Monty could work? Even if it is a bit of a stretch...

I'd like to second Beaumont. It means Handsome Mountain!
Sons Wyatt and Cole. Third son on the way!

Montana! I have met a few kids with this name and love it every time i hear it. Beaumont is good too, though.
