    Patty/Patricia/Patrice

Nora/Elinor (Eleanor's slightly better because it makes me think of Eleanor of Aquitaine.)

Gertrude, Agnes, Gail, Diane (I actually like Diana just fine though.)

Maura (Moira's better but still not one I would actually use.)

    Shonda/Chandra

Any "Lucretias" or "Lucrezias" not pronounced "Loo-CREHSH--uh" or "Loo--CRETZ--ee-ah". If it's just "Loo--CREESH--uh" I want to tear my hair out, especially since Lucrezia is one of my favorite names. It loses a lot of elegance that way.

Wow, I feel like my list is very small after that one The ones I hate are mostly because I've either heard them too much or I just for some unknown reason cannot stand them

Leigh - I don't know why, but it makes me gag. I like Lee well enough, I just can't even stand to look at Leigh.
Ann/Anne - I'm not sure why everyone is so enamored with this name because to me, it's the equivalent of naming your kid Jane Doe. As a nickname for something like Anneliese, okay. By itself, no.
    Yvette - Again, I don't know why
Ashley on a girl - love on a boy
    Jaden/Jayden
Nora - Another name people are so obsessed with that I just don't understand
Schuyler (I think that's how you spell it) - More gagging.
Eliza - I just think of Liza Minnelli. I don't even know who that is, but apparently I have bad associations with her

There's more, I know it, but I just can't think of them right now. You know, those names that for some reason make you angry or upset just looking at them?

Any variation on Elle, Ella, Belle or Bella. Too cutesy and WAY too overdone. My ONLY exception is Annabel.

Also 99% of boy's names on girls. But I guess that doesn't really count since the question was most hated girl's names ;-)

1.) Made up/yooneek/tryndee names like Nevaeh and Kylynn.

2.) The majority of unisex names, though I like Grier, Quinn and Sage. Subcategory with special hate: "Son of" names like Madison.

3.) A lot of overdone and over-the-top Nameberry names that I just don't get the love for - Clementine and Scarlett (ugh) being chief among them.

4.) Katniss, Boheme and Reverie. Katniss is fine on a character, but seriously? I call my dog "Dogniss" as a joke now. Boheme and Reverie are wonderful for Rebecca Woolf, because they have lovely stories, but I hate how everyone is piggybacking onto them.

I don't really dislike any names as long as they are not made up or misspelled.

I see a few names in this thread that are not to my taste, but I also see some names in this thread that are actually on my list. Different strokes and all of that.

I don't care for most "P" names for some reason. Especially Pippa, but also
    Piper
    Poppy
    Penelope
    Peyton
    Peggy
Some traditional boy names on girls, but not all of them.

I hate the really overused names like Sarah, Hannah, Rebecca and Anna. Just because I find them so boring!
Also, can't stand Ashley and all it's hideous spellings, even worse is Ashlyn.
Some others than I dislike are; Brianna, Gracelyn, McKenzie, Madison, Macy, Kendall, Kennedy (Infact all K names on girls, except for Kate), Winter, Payton, Lacey, Stacy, Maya, Laura, Natasha, Natalie, Jennifer, Samantha, Briony, Bethany, Leah, Zara, Michelle, Kayleigh, Katie.
