    I think I have a thing against "N" names.

    Nevaeh
Naomi (Nathaniel is one of my least favorite boys' names, too)

I usually lump Scarlett and Amelia into this category, too, although I don't hate them at all--I just can't see them fitting into my style.
    Ashley
twenty-something name lover dreaming of adoption.

    Isabelle | Arianne | Olivia | Violet | Rachel | Liliana | Charlotte | Eleni | Hannah | Eva | Catherine | Tess | Emmeline
    Caleb | Everett | Asher | Jack | Grayson | Avery | Bailey | Samuel | Charles | Boaz

Oh there are so many! Wren and Navaeh are probably the ones I feel most strongly about. I also dislike boy names on girls - not unisex names (I consider Sam and Charlie unisex), I am talking pure boy name - like James or Luca (yes Luca is a MALE NAME!)
I also dislike Rebecca (I love Bec, hate Becky and Becca), Rachel, Chelsea, Hillary, Tamsin, Pandora, India, Eden, Lola, Lula, Eliza (this may be another one of my most disliked names), Ethan...
Anything begining with Anal___ such as Analeigh.
Oh and I also dislike calling a child a wonderful name like Penelope, and then giving the child a nickname which is not a nick-name for that particular name. Like Pippa. You cannot get Pippa out of Penelope. If you want to name your child Pippa, name her Pippa. Although, I am a HUGE fan of Scout as a nickname for Susannah, but that I feel is like calling "insert any boy name here" Buddy.

I don't like names that aren't wearable on adults (even though they are cute on a little girl). Poppy is the one that springs to mind.

Not a big fan or Doris or Gertrude either....I just don't think that they are usable in modern times even though other old fashioned names are.

I do not like the name Dakota, nor do I like many virtue names like Heaven, Angel, Bliss, Joy, Hope etc.
