I hate when people name their children "cute" names. like Brinley, Braylee, Miley.....ect. These cute kids eventually grow up and can you imagine an adult named Blakelynn???? LOL

Lorraine is pretty awful. It might have seemed classy to name a girl after a place in France back when your grandmother was born... but it's just tacky! I hate Brittany and Rochelle for the same reason.

Lorelei, Lilith, Jezebel and other names associated with evil are terrible. Yes, I get it, you're trying to prove how cool you are, but your kid's name could offend someone!

Sophie & Violet have been playing on my nerves recently, I'm not sure why. Probably because I've been hearing them around so much and the whole vintage thing is starting to wear off on me. The same is unfortunately beginning to happen with Evangeline. I've also really never seen the appeal of Maeve.

Other names are: Daniel, Harvey, Adalyn, Morgan, Steven, Silas, Natasha, Tamara, Eliana, Elissa, Clarissa, Melissa, Douglas

Then again, I vowed to myself when I was five that I'd never name my child Henry and now I love it. So who knows, maybe my hate list will one day be my love list (god forbid). In the same way, if I met someone extremely inspirational in the future with one of these name I'd definitely consider them on a child. And I guess any name, regardless of how unappealing it is, can be made usable when paired with the right second/first name.

Genevieve. I loathe it. It is one of the very few names that is 100% unattractive to me.

Penelope. Not as awful as Genevieve, but similar.

Story, Boheme, Fable, Sonnet, etc. Sound terribly pretentious and just silly, IMO.

Fox, Hawk, Wolf, Bear etc. for boys. See above.

Sebastian. Honestly, this name sounds as if you want your boy to be wearing a great-coat and tails or something.

I haven't bothered with the usual suspects (Nevaeh, Jayden, Kaylyn, etc.), just the ones that get a lot of love here. Generally I love all the Berry-ish names, but these ones bug me every time they come up.

I can't stand MacKenzie. Other "mac" sounding names are not as bad to me. Makenna for example sounds rather pretty and looks nice (as long as the k remains lower case!) but something about the look and sound of MacKenzie/McKinzi/MacKynzy/etc. just seems like letter vomit.
Also, -cy/-cie names sound very insubstantial to me. Lacy, Macy, Kacie, Tracy, Staci... I just can't take them seriously.

Agnes drives me up the wall and around again.
Atticus, I cannot stand at all, and I don't think I ever will.
    Penelope is irking.
Story is just a huge eyeroll from me.
Sophia is the most annoying name to be right now, I never found it attractive, and hearing/seeing it over and over and over has just killed its little appeal entirely.
    -inley names, Brinley, Finley etc.
    Sage, ughhh.
Grey/Gray, it's just depressing especially on girls.
    Virginia, drives me crazy.

Both me and my two sister's names made the list :P Angelica (me) Xanthe and Melissa
I hate plain names like ann, katherine and jane, and also the just made up names in general, but most of all, i despise angie. i think its because people have tried to abbreviate my name to it all my life, but thankfully ive found another nickname (jelly)
