We have a decision!!!
After months of indecision, we've finally picked our daughter's name.
PEARL
Thanks berries for all of your input! It was absolutely invaluable and soooo appreciated!
Now to work on a middle name :-)Jamie
Proud mommy to three beautiful girls - Elise Margaret, Marie Gretchen Ilayda, and Clara James Ceylan (Ilayda and Ceylan prn Jay-lawn are Turkish names since the girls were born in Turkey)
Expecting another little girl in July.

Pearl is a lovely choice. Familiar but not overused, feminine but not frilly. I like it a lot.

I just posted a new thread about a middle name for her... we're honoring my dad this time around. His name is Gerald and he goes by Jerry... perhaps Geraldine. I think we're leaving out the Turkish middle this time as Pearl sounds a lot like Piril (with no dots on the i's) which is a Turkish name, or she could go by the Turkish word for Pearl (Inci) which is a pretty common name here.
