4 syllable last name
My husband and I are having issues coming up with a name that goes with our long last name. I think it needs to be something with one syllable. I like Max and Grey but I am not sold on either one. We would like to use his name Kristopher as a MN. Any suggestions on what would work?

Are there any longer names you like to hellp with suggestions? I know it depends on the exact sound of your last name, but I know quite a few people with 2 and 3 syllable first names and 4 syllable last names and they work quite nice.. you might not have to limit yourself to only one syllable names.
Having said that, here are some one syllable ideas:
Beau
Rex
Reed
Blake
Jye
Cade
Charles
Sean
Jack
Rhys
Jet
Joel
Tate
Jude
Are there any you like?
Best wishes

We have thought about other syllable names. Actually the girls name will be Lydia which I adore. My husband likes Grady Kristopher but I am afraid it sounds too clunky with my last name which is Altemeyer. He also likes Jayce which I feel is too trendy. I haven't heard a boys name that blends well with our last name.

How about John Kristopher, nn Jack? Jack Altemeyer is very handsome. Or you could go with Jason Kristopher, nn Jay or Jayce.

My recommendation is ...
01. Damon Kristopher Altemeyer [2/3/4 syllable count]
02. Galen Kristopher Altemeyer [2/3/4 syllable count]
03. George Kristopher Altemeyer [1/3/4 syllable count]
04. Philip Kristopher Altemeyer [2/3/4 syllable count]
05. Troy Kristopher Altemeyer [1/3/4 syllable count]
[and]
Lydia Catherine Altemeyer [3/2/4 syllable count]
... Greek first and middle names for your children.
P.S.
