Exclamation Are my names really that bad/crazy?

My husband and I are expecting out first child (we dont know the sex). I am only 4 weeks away from my due date and we have some names picked out.. but no one else seems to like them!

    What do you think?

(ive been checking out the forums and it seems people here are a little more open minded about names!)

    Sidonius
    Fillan
    Januarius
    Bosco
    Pastor

They are all saints names which we really want... but we dont want the regular.. John or Mary etc.!!!

    Are they really that bad???????????

To be honest, I don't really like them either.... they just aren't my taste.

Bad is a relative term. They are at least a bit beyond uncommon, which makes people uncomfortable. Any chance you would call the boy by a nickname? Sidonius = Sid?

Are you aware of Saint Remigius, he has a really cool story? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Remigius

Remy is a popular French Boys name.

I responded to your post in the girls forum too.. ( as i also like saints names!)

They boys are a little but better than the girls (sorry)... I like the SID or Sidonius but not a fan of the whole name...

I dont mind Bosco or Pastor.. Januarius is odd but ok... Fillan sounds like "fill -in" so not my fave..

What about saints names like Blaine or Atticus?? Not common but not quite as hard to pronounce as your ideas!

Also there are some Pope names that would be more mainstream like:
    Benedict
    Urban
Sons Wyatt and Cole. Third son on the way!
