Love them! I especially love Grant as a FN, and Scarlett and Vivienne work together perfectly. I like the idea of Edda, but I agree--it is a bit out-of-style with the other FNs. I don't think it's too bad, though.

    Good luck!

I love old Hollywood stuff. My favorites are Lana & Veronica for Lana Turner and Veronica Lake...Lake is actually pretty too!

    Scarlett- Very pretty
Marlena- I prefer Marlene or Marla...or even Marnie like the Hitchcock movie with Tippi Hedron
Grace- Really kind of boring to me. Especially as a mn. It doesn't conjure images of Grace Kelly to me. It's too common and sounds like 'grease'. I would prefer Kelly to honor Grace Kelly...it feels more unexpected nowadays. Or Margot or Lisa for her Hitchcock characters.
Vivienne- I love this, but prefer the more down-to-earth spelling Vivian
Audrey- I love Audrey Hepburn and I love Audrey Horn (character from Twin Peaks) and Audrey Tautou (or whatever Amelie's name is!), but I don't love the name Audrey, really, just cause the sound isn't pretty imo.
Lucille- I love this name...I love Lucy, I love all names that can be nn Lou
Edda- I prefer Etta, but I like this quite a bit as well. I like that it's a less literal way to reference Audrey Hepburn.
Marilyn- I would love to hear this as a fn on a young girl. I'm shocked that I've never met a young Marilyn..maybe I'll have to have another daughter so I can use it!
Blair- I don't really like this one. Very 80's preppy rich girl to me and not a pretty sound. I think blare..like blaring loud.
Grant Gable- I really dislike this pairing. The alliteration and it's a really literal way to honor old Hollywood. and masculine sounding. Grant makes me think of Cary, but also of Amy...And Gable could make a cute fn for a boy with nn Gabe, but it would remind me of Anne of Green Gables if it wasn't paired with Grant.
